Calvin vs Adrian Recap:

Calvin goes into Adrian and gets a massive 17-12 win. This was the type of win that I was looking for from this team going into this year and they were able to due to complementary football! Whenever the offense couldn’t get going, the defense stepped up. It took a team effort and Calvin was able to get the win, even with a few big performances from Adrian players!

#WhyWednesday: Why Unilateral Training Matters

If you want to run faster, jump higher, cut sharper, and stay healthier, unilateral training should be part of your program.

✅ Corrects muscle imbalances
• Forces each limb to produce its own force
• Exposes and improves strength deficits
• Reduces compensation from the stronger side

✅ Builds stability & core strength
• Challenges anti-rotation core control
• Improves ankle, knee, and hip stability
• Enhances balance and body awareness (proprioception)

✅ Transfers to sport performance
• Replicates the demands of sprinting, cutting, jumping, and changing direction
• Improves single-leg force production and movement efficiency
• Supports injury reduction by addressing weak links

✅ A hidden advantage
• Training one limb can help preserve or improve strength in the opposite limb through neural adaptations (“cross-education”), making unilateral work valuable during rehabilitation.

🏆 Train how you compete. Stronger, more stable athletes move more efficiently and are better prepared for the demands of sport.

Why do COLLEGE ATHLETES choose ETS?

Because average training gets average results. We don’t do average.

At ETS, every athlete gets an INDIVIDUALIZED training system built to maximize strengths, attack weaknesses, and elevate performance to the next level.

Our staff brings REAL experience from Division I, II, III, JUCO & NAIA Strength & Conditioning programs — not gimmicks, not cookie-cutter workouts, and definitely not babysitting sessions.

We develop COMPLETE athletes:✅ Elite Performance Training✅ Recovery & Regeneration✅ Nutrition Guidance✅ Accountability & Culture

This is more than a one-hour workout. This is a commitment to becoming UNCOMMON.

If you’re serious about taking your game to the next level, come see what ETS is all about.

We promise… you won’t be disappointed.

#FeatureFriday

This weeks feature Friday is filled with emotion! - excitement, happiness, and inspiration. The two members of our ETS family that we are featuring are everything that we stand for at ETS.

At ETS we preach that to be UNCOMMON, you must first COMMIT to the process! Along the way there will certainly be adversity that you have to OVERCOME, & as long as you stay committed to the process, you will CONQUER your goals!

For the past year these two have not only stayed committed through adversity, but they have now conquered their goal of becoming professional Football athletes!

As they head to Training camp, we cannot thank both of them enough for truly being an example for every ETS Family member of what it takes to accomplish your lifelong dreams!

Gabe & Solo, we couldn’t be more excited to root both of you on! You will always have a home here at @ets.grandrapids.mi and thank you for always staying committed to the process, no matter what life threw at you!
