rain therapy🌧
posting this at night because I wanted it to be something you can hear, calm down to and enjoy throughout the night. I'm not sure if it'll actually act as THAT but I tried ig :c
Let me know if you want more stuff like this.

This was originally supposed to be a hyperlapse of a "ramen drawing" I'm working on but apart from my phone being dead and it being incomplete, I was somewhere lost between the tales of past, blaming myself and too emotionally drained to put in the desired hardwork.

So, instead I decided to make a "rain therapy" video because for some unknown reason I love to transform whatever works as a therapy for my mind into artwork.

It's more of a rain & rant video—I'll be talking about different stuff.

Rant 1: There's a stereotype that has been influencing many of my fellow artists. It's "your artwork needs to be perfect in all ways to be posted" which is a reason for us having many drafts, incomplete projects and so called failed attempts.

I think your artwork isn't supposed to be perfect in all ways. Art is a balance between the mistakes and things properly done. One can create something very perfect in other's eyes but only the original creator knows the flaws of it. That's art I guess.

It's not always supposed to be pretty flowers, green fields, french aesthetic, coffee shops etc because art is so diverse that it can also be black images with white lines, bad quality photos, poorly edited work, failed attempts at something. All of it is art. A process of learning with every step.

Personally I prefer broken, uncompleted projects more than completed ones. Even though a complete project by me makes me extremely happy but it's unable to satisfy the poetic side of me.

I mean, what emotions were running through the artist's mind when he/she decided to leave something unfinished? Anger? Sadness? Too much to take in? Or just lazy???
It's a beautiful concept honestly.

Rant 2: Often when it rains now, I watch it while listening to anime songs from movies that actually either include the weather change, rain or a proper emotional ride.

He made me wash the teacups on video call :c
.
a collaboration with @isiiyam literally my small brother at this point, super talented and underrated uwu. This collab is my favourite because it got done over a video call so included a mix of me telling him stories associated to different rooms in the house and him making jokes about me and showing me his cats xd
btw that's tezaab in siyam's teacup hmm.

There was something in the desert
There was someplace wild and green
And a child in a village I passed through
There are places that I've travelled
And so many things I've seen
And it all fades away but you
I was sliding down a mountain
I was burning in the sun
I was crying with amazement at the view
I was capturing a moment
But when all is said and done,
Well it all fades away but you
It all fades away.
