KIMMY’S CLASS OF ‘25 - FILM. [1/3]

3 years ago today, I came up with the idea to document my life in the form of a Yearbook and reflect on each year on my birthday 🎈

I wanted a physical way to look back on all the memories I made each year without having to rely on my own (because I don’t be remembering things…sometimes 🥲).

I ᴛʜɪɴᴋ I ᴡᴀs ᴀʟsᴏ ɪɴsᴘɪʀᴇᴅ ʙʏ ᴛʜᴇ ғᴀᴄᴛ ᴍʏ sᴄʜᴏᴏʟ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ʜᴀᴅ ᴀ ᴏɴᴇ ʙᴇᴄᴀᴜsᴇ ᴀʟʟ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇɪʀ ʙᴜᴅɢᴇᴛ ᴡᴇɴᴛ ᴛᴏ [ʀᴇᴅᴀᴄᴛᴇᴅ] ʙᴜᴛ ᴡʜᴏ ᴋɴᴏᴡs? 😃

I sat on this idea for such a long time due to fear and obstacles i faced along the way, but last year in May, I finally saw my vision come to life. 🥹

It was really my first time shooting almost entirely on film in controlled studio lighting. Most of it came from calculated guesses, but I’m happy with what I got.
