One Happy Island 🌴☀️🌵🌊
Aruba is a Caribbean island that’s part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. 🇦🇼
It’s only about a 3-hour flight from Miami! ✈️

📍Akira Back
The food was SO good! 😍 Chef Akira Back’s creativity really shines through in every dish. Sadly, I missed the sunset, but that just gives me a reason to come back. @akirabackaruba @stregisaruba

📍Flamingo Beach
The day pass was around $125 per person, and I took the water taxi from the Renaissance Hotel. Going early in the morning meant fewer crowds! However, it wasn’t quite as magical as the photos I’d seen on Instagram, so I only spent a few hours there. 🦩

📍Atlantis Submarine Tour
Such a unique experience! We went deep underwater in a real submarine and got to see colorful fish, coral reefs, and shipwrecks without even getting wet. It felt so surreal seeing the ocean from this perspective! 🐠 @atlantissubmarinesaruba

📍Aruba Aleo Factory Museum and Store
I bought so many products here, both for myself and as souvenirs, and I’m so happy with everything! My sunburned skin really needed some relief from the Aruba sun, and these products were a lifesaver!🌿 @royalarubaaloe

📍Arikok National Park
The park has rugged landscapes, rocky coastlines, and caves with ancient Indigenous paintings. Even though I arrived early, the heat was intense! The Natural Pool was closed during my visit, so if you’re planning to go, check its status beforehand and make sure you have a 4x4 vehicle or book a guided tour. I’d recommen

There’s something different about experiencing Aruba with Isla.

We wanted an off-road experience that felt a little more personal, so we did a private customized tour with Isla Aruba.

No rushing. No mixed groups. No following a fixed schedule.

We skipped the crowds, took our time, stopped where we wanted, and honestly felt so much more taken care of throughout the day.

That’s exactly the kind of experience I love recommending through ROAM: something planned around you.

If you’re coming to Aruba and want to experience the island your way, send me a message and I’ll help you arrange your private tour. 🤍

Caribbean Sunset 🌅
I included the unedited version too.

I said I wanted to disappear and then I kind of did? 😂 What an experience! Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would end up on a gorgeous island especially this year after all the medical hell I went through. It wasn’t always sunshine… at first, I thought I made a mistake. I had my sick days still but I braved through it all & had some happy days too. The place & the people were amazing. I’m so used to being judged & bullied, which is why I try hard to keep to myself. Although I can be a very blunt person too. Mostly, I like being left alone but the locals here had me smiling every time. Never once did I get judged. The language barriers somehow weren’t an issue either. Their slogan is one happy island and that couldn’t be more true. I’m gonna miss it. It was all beautiful.

And a huge wish of mine came true. Finally visiting the sea for the first time. Seeing island life. I wanted to do that since I was little. Also saw a desert! Bonus 🤙

Masha danki, Aruba! ❤️‍🔥

Leatherback sea turtle, September 1st 2026. 🐢🤍 I’m so happy to have been a part of this. Especially because this story hits close to home. I traveled to Aruba recently! It’s been quite the experience especially after all that happened. Saw some wonderful places, experienced a new culture that I adored. I was most excited to witness the turtle hatching. I ended up being ill on the day of the first turtle hatching nearby… so I stayed at the Airbnb feeling bummed but then the next day, the excavation came and this turtle was the weakest one but a survivor. 💪 So the workers created a whole area to let this little guy go into the sea. I didn’t get to see the 50 that hatched but I saw the one that got a chance which made this moment feel very special for me. I really hope he is doing well out there! My little warrior & huge thank you to the workers who did a wonderful job.
