I am incredibly excited to announce my commitment to Texas A&M Corpus Christi University to run Division 1 track and field!
This has been a long-time dream, and I’m so grateful to see it come true.
First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with this opportunity and guiding me on this path. I also want to thank my amazing Mom, who has been my rock and biggest supporter every step of the way. Next, I want to thank my incredible coaches for their guidance and support, thank you for helping me develop my skills and providing me with amazing opportunities. A special thank you to @coach_hectorpuente & @coachjacksonb for believing in me and pushing me to be my best. I’m also thankful for the rest of my family for their endless love and encouragement.
I’m also grateful for the amazing teachers and staff at my school who have supported my academic and athletic journey. I can’t wait to join the Islander family and see what the future holds...

Senior Year, you’re on the clock ⏱️🤙🏽 My biggest flex is that my baby’s life looks nothing like mine at her age.. and that was always the goal 🩵💚✝️ #Faith

Idk what your future holds baby girl, but I KNOW its always been this. Everyone’s College journey looks different, we may not know what that looks like but God never misses 💯

Year 4.🥹 And somehow, we’re here. 🏃🏼‍♀️

I’ve watched my daughter give more than 4yrs of her heart, time, strength, and dedication to Cross-County/ Track while also managing her time as a CNA and full-time student, growing into an incredible young woman. She came into this journey with a goal, and as her mamma, I’ve been so proud watching her get closer to that finish line.

But then came an unexpected opportunity… one more year. One more chance to run. One more season. One more opportunity to do what she loves and leave it all on the course/ track. And every year after, one more year 🥲🙏🏽

What makes this moment even more special to me is knowing that her coaches see something in her that I have always seen. They see her heart, & potential. They see her work ethic. They see the determination, strength, and leadership, that I’ve watched her carry her entire life.

As a mom, there’s something incredibly special about watching other people recognize the greatness in your child that you’ve known was there all along.

Whatever she chooses for her future, I am proud of her always, always! Proud of the athlete she has become, but even more proud of the young woman she is.
