A new way for us to share parts of a feature film with you 🎥🤍

Libby & Will - it was such an honour to create your wedding film in the venue of your dreams.

Libby had driven past this venue every day of her life and couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. So to be trusted to capture the moments, people and emotions that made this dream day theirs felt incredibly special.

And a dream it really was. 🥹

From the tiniest in-between moments to the words spoken by the people who know and love them best… there was so much feeling woven throughout their day.

And those words? Absolutely beautiful.

So, rather than sharing just one longer feature film in a reel, here are some snippets from Libby & Will’s feature film — little pieces of their day, exactly as it felt.

Enjoy 🤍

A stunning venue hidden in plain sight.

Island Hall has its own private island, crossed by footbridge over the Great Ouse. S & E held their reception there, marquee wrapped by river on both sides, said their vows under the great oak on the lawn, and walked the island grounds with me for portraits, light through the trees, river either side, a setting you genuinely cannot find anywhere else in Cambridgeshire.

Flowers by Feather and Ferns, catering by Little Piggy Catering.

A clip that could be included in your wedding feature film… 🎥

The laughter that follows the action.

Natural. Beautiful. Completely you.

Because these are the moments we love to capture - the little reactions, the real laughter, the bits that happen without a prompt.

This is Your Newton Wedding Films. 🤍

A clip that wouldn’t be included in your wedding feature film…

…and honestly, it wouldn’t exist in our editing style at Your Newton Wedding Films either. 🙈

Elegant? ✔️
Cinematic? ✔️
Black & white? ✔️
Posed? ✔️
Slow-mo? ✔️

It’s beautiful - but it’s just not us, which is absolutely okay! There’s an editing style for everyone’s wedding film, you just have to find which one speaks the most to you! It helps to think what you’d like to look back on in 10 years time?

A clip you’d get if we handed over ALL your raw footage… 😂

Because what actually happened after?

THIS. 😂

Brilliant energy from Libby, the most chilled bride getting ready, and exactly the kind of completely unfiltered moment that makes you feel like you were actually there.

And this is why I love filming weddings.

Not everything makes the final film - but sometimes the moments that don’t make the cut are just as brilliant.

Cannottttt wait to share more with you, Libby & Will! 🤍🎥

Bridal Trial vs Bridal Morning 🤍

Oh, how I love seeing my brides this happy🥹

Slightly softer brows & a more muted, dusty rose lip and sometimes the smallest tweaks make all the difference.

2027 bridal diary is open & already filling up.

A rare photo of me capturing a moment… now swipe to see the moment brought to life on film.🥹🎥

Libby and her Mum shared such a beautiful bond, and it was such a privilege to quietly capture them just being themselves. No prompts, no posing - just a spontaneous rendition of the Jurassic Park theme tune that had us all laughing.🤣🤍

These are the moments I love most. The raw, the natural, the beautifully unplanned moments that tell your story exactly as it happened. They’re the memories that become even more precious with time.

Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your day, Libby & Will. It was an honour. 🤍

POV: your wedding dress finds you on @vinted.

Don’t mind @tillycorinne running through the gardens in her little old gown; elfin, effortless; Hepburn-esque. The way it moves is everything; impossibly light & quietly grand. Lovingly restored and re-homed by Tilly and her mum, it became the heart of a wedding built on creativity rather than convention.

In fact, almost every thoughtful detail of Tilly & Luke’s day was imagined, made, sourced or styled by the couple and their family. Proof that beauty doesn’t come from a bigger budget; it comes from intention.

An art project disguised as a wedding; this just straight to the core of why I enjoy my work so much: each wedding a little art project for me too.

And what a joy to see it unfold at the endlessly beautiful @islandhall. We have a feeling we’ll be back.
