In June, I graduated from the International School of Ministry.

I'm not an ordained minister, so let me explain why I even enrolled. I have a desire for ministry, and, if I'm honest, that's not something I hear people say often. Most people talk about calling, purpose, and gifting. Not many say, "I just have a desire to know more about ministry." But that was me.

So I signed up. I didn't have it all figured out; I just knew the desire was strong enough that I couldn't ignore it anymore.

Classes ran for two months. We covered ministry leadership, Homiletics, Biblical Hermeneutics, digital ministry, marriage ministry, systematic theology, ministry basics, and more, a lot to take in, honestly. Some classes stretched me. Some challenged things I thought I already understood.

A lot happened during those two months. But if there's one thing I know for sure, it's that my view of ministry isn't the same anymore. It's shifted in a way I'm still processing.

I think I'll go back for the next cohort. This doesn't feel like something I'm done with.

The easiest part is that the International School of Ministry is open to everyone! You might want to consider joining the next cohort!

Last year, I made it to the final stage of applying to the International School of Ministry with Apostle Femi Lazarus in collaboration with Oral Roberts University but I never submitted my application.

This year, the opportunity came again, and I decided to go all in. I chose to invest in myself, grow, and learn from a kingdom leader I deeply admire. Looking back, I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I've made.

From the very first class, I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be. I met incredible people from around the world many of whom have become family. I worked on research projects and assignments I never imagined I'd have the opportunity to do. By God's grace, my group and I will be publishing our research together.

ISM was beautifully rigorous and amazingly intense, but I would do it all over again without hesitation.

A heartfelt thank you to our School Director, @dr.kobs, for his outstanding leadership and dedication. Thank you to our Principal, Apostle Femi Lazarus, for your vision and for building such an exceptional school. Thank you to all our lecturers for pouring into us, and to our amazing group supervisor, @thedropeyemi, for always being accessible, patient, funny, and supportive whenever we needed help.

And then there were my ISM besties.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm not really a "clique" kind of girl. But for the first time in my life, I found myself in a grown-folks clique and I wouldn't trade it for anything. We worked hard together, cried together, laughed together, got frustrated together, prayed together, and constantly encouraged one another. We had every personality imaginable: the calm one, the fiery one, the group mom, the no-nonsense one, the comedian... somehow, we became our own little ISM family.

Special thanks to our group leader @joshua.shanabo, star gyal @norahs_king (Sharon), @edwin_oshin (Dr. Edwin), Nehemiah, Mrs. Ayo, Mrs. Kehinde, and Dave. You all made this journey unforgettable. Thank you for your friendship, your support, and for making ISM such a worthwhile experience.

Yesterday, I was privileged to be part of the 2026 graduating class of international school of ministry 🥹

This feat does not implies that I’m an ordained pastor or minister yet, I’m simply a growing believer who want to be equipped with knowledge enough to do what Christ has commanded us; which is to spread and proclaim the ministry of reconciliation which he has given us according to 2 Corinthians 5:17-20
Not from guesses or rumors but FACTS! ✨

As proclaimed by ACT 10:38; to be able to truly DO GOOD, For a generation that is is easily swayed by conspiracies disguised as information, we are saddled with the responsibility to intentionally stay learned with facts

So, This is to giving myself to continuous learning and to continually proclaim his desire on earth; so help me God.💜

Doing “hard” things is sometimes the best way to grow. I went on a journey that judged almost everything I thought I understood about the Kingdom. But I learned, I led, I grew and I’m still growing. I’m grateful to my Director @dr.kobs for the opportunity given to me to serve alongside my colleagues. I met great men and women some of whom are now family. Thank you @ismofficial1 ISM 2026 Cohort! I recently completed the International School of Ministry in conjunction with Oral Roberts University, and it was absolutely worth every moment.

I had always heard about the rigor that comes with being an ISM student, but over the past few weeks, I experienced it firsthand. The journey was both demanding and rewarding, stretching me intellectually, spiritually, and ministerially.

From Ministry Basics, Homiletics, Systematic Theology, and Biblical Hermeneutics to Christian Research Methodology, Ministry Leadership, Ministry Administration, Marriage, Guidance & Counseling, and Digital Ministry, every course added something valuable to my growth.

What began as a desire years ago has now become a testimony. I am grateful for the knowledge gained, the lessons learned, and the transformation experienced.

My sincere appreciation goes to the Principal, Director, and all the faculty members for their investment, sacrifice, and commitment to raising sound ministers. Thank you for making this a truly life-changing experience.

Here’s to stewarding well all that has been received.
