We’re developing a vision for a roller skating rink and mentoring program in New Haven—a space where young people can connect, build confidence, and find community.

Here’s a first look at what we’re imagining. Stay tuned as the vision takes shape.

I’ve visited this museum many times, but like a classic album, each return reveals something I hadn’t quite noticed before. The museum interacts with and kisses the o̶b̶e̶l̶i̶s̶k̶ …Tekhenu. #architecture #isoparm #columbiauniversity #howaduniversity #blackarchitects

N.A.ME (NOT ABOUT ME) is more than a community space—it is a living expression of Bed-Stuy’s creativity, care, and collective spirit. Through art, culture, and honest conversation, we create room for people to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Rooted in the belief that none of us grows alone, N.A.ME brings neighbors together to share ideas, build meaningful connections, and shape something bigger than themselves. We are a home for the people, stories, and energy that make Bed-Stuy unique—the pulse of the neighborhood, created and carried by its community.

Good design begins with understanding what’s already there. At ISOPARM, we use new technology to capture existing spaces with precision—turning field measurements into intelligent building models that inform every design decision.

Every measurement matters.

Anyone who really knows me knows how much I love Judge Judy.

Growing up, coming home from school, sitting on my favorite couch and watching her became a ritual. Long before I became an architect, she taught me something essential to creativity and design: study what’s in front of you, ask the right questions and remove everything that doesn’t belong.

After 30 years, she may be stepping away from the camera—but a presence that powerful never truly leaves the room.

Thank you, Judge Judy, for being part of my childhood, my education and the culture. ⚖️

Every project begins with an idea—but an idea alone is never enough.

It takes vision, discipline, collaboration, and the courage to keep going when the answer isn’t immediately clear.

For me, architecture has never been only about designing buildings. It’s about creating possibilities, strengthening communities, and leaving something meaningful behind.

It’s more than a building b#columbiauniversity #howarduniversity #architecture #brooklynarchitect #howardalumni
