They compete against each other on the court. Off it, they’re one community, representing one of the nation’s premier basketball hubs.

This isn’t about rankings. It’s a celebration of Georgia’s Class of 2027. This first group features players @VDAthlete covered throughout their junior season, and there’s plenty more talent across the state we’ll be highlighting soon.

As the new school year approaches, I encourage you to go out and support them this season. Celebrate the moments while they’re still creating them. If you’re in Metro Atlanta, catch them in person. You can see many of them under one roof at showcases like the @ontheradarhoops Tip-Off Classic, @holiday_hoopsgiving , Georgia’s Elite 8 Tip-Off Classic & @thedreamchallengeshowcase .

Many of these names will be playing on college basketball’s biggest stages one day. All of them are already part of Georgia’s basketball story.

Add his pull-up game, poise under pressure and quick hands defensively, and Barnes has the tools to impact the game on both ends.

Solomon Bratton gives Milton a versatile 6-foot-8 presence who can impact the game inside and away from the basket. The Class of 2027 forward uses his size and strength to finish through contact, rebound in traffic and defend multiple positions, while also showing the mobility and touch to operate from the perimeter. Bratton’s ability to contribute without needing the offense built around him makes him a valuable piece on both ends of the floor.
