nostalgic already! it’s been such a joy to witness and amplify the work of @ariannaafsar and @notwildlin , and to create alongside @dria.brown (!!!) and so many of the other incredible, hardworking people involved in @bwayadvocacycoalition Artivism Fellowship this year

and what you’re seeing here is just a few moments within 7 months of work (and play ✨)

it was so good to be on this project as a creative director but the greatest gift has been discovering more profound ways to express the vision of the world we’re brining into being—one rooted in care, grace, and empathy, where we each recognize and embrace our unique role in upholding truth, justice, and one another’s humanity

this season is over, but work carries on <3

BAC ‘s Night of Artivism is tomorrow night! Which means I get to share a little bts from this shoot :)♡

The show is at 7:00PM at @abronsartscenter. It’s giving justice-response, music centered, performances by Artivism Fellows @ariannaafsar and @notwildlin, featuring those directly impacted alongside industry artists. 🎤✨✍🏾

This year BAC partnered with Justice Beyond Punishment — a campaign led by more than 10 organizations in New York State dedicated to strengthening efforts for narrative change around violence, punishment, safety, and justice.

It’s really inspiring to watch a process like this unfold, especially with such a special, hard working group of people. I’m super proud to be a part of it!

Head to @bwayadvocacycoalition ‘s IG story for more info about tickets!💙🌀
