Looking back at late summer and early fall... with smiles, warm company, melodies, hugs, shared meals, laughs, crisp leaves, brotherhood, care, dance, play, courage.....as the world around us crumbles and reminds us that NOW is the perfect time to spread seeds of love and water them. 🌱✨️💧

This year, I want to celebrate the amazing people I call family — my rock, my support system — and highlight some unforgettable core memories ❤️

Missing a few special folks only because I realized I don’t have any pics with them yet… so if you catch me asking for a photo, just know what’s up 😂

Love y’all. 🫶🏼

To say I had a blast at @tinybarpvd 's Pride Drag Brunch on Sunday is an understatement! 🩷 Still riding the high 🥰 Thank you @madbvnny for booking me and letting @thescotianova live out her campy "Sexy Patrick Star" fantasy! ✨ #ScotiaNova

June 4th 🎈 • Haven’t posted on here since 2023, crazy how time flies. When life is a little messy posting on my personal page feels like a facade so I took a step back for a bit. Been busyyy though. Slowly trying to take my photography to the next level and working hard on bettering myself and helping those around me when I can. My birthday encourage me to start sharing a little bit more again. Here’s a few highlights from 2025. Hope everyone’s doing good! ❤️

My Favorite Stranger

I have walked through decades
kissed by sunrises that never said your name.
I’ve danced in cities that never knew your face
and laughed in rooms where your silence wasn't felt.

I’ve counted constellations
with hands that never held yours.
I've loved, lost and lived—
without ever realizing
the most beautiful chapter
hadn’t even started.

You were out there.
Somewhere.
A heartbeat I hadn’t met yet.
A whole novel with a cover I hadn’t cracked open,
a voice not yet a soundtrack to my life,
a face not yet the engraved in my heart

And then—
you appeared.
A stranger,
with eyes I didn’t recognize
but somehow felt like home.
Like déjà vu in full color.
Like a soul I forgot I’d been waiting for.

You didn’t walk in like a movie scene,
no slow motion, no film score—
just a conversation,
that turned into a rhythm,
that turned into a refuge,
that turned into a revelation.

And suddenly,
I couldn’t remember
the feel of my life
before your laugh lived in it.
Before your hand fit mine
like it was always supposed to.

You became the backstory I didn’t know I was writing toward.
The future I didn’t know was praying for.
The stranger who knew
how to translate my silences,
and echo my soul
like a mirror made of empathy.

We’ve started writing our own novel
between shared laughs and Netflix Sundays.
Spoken volumes in glances and
rewritten definitions of “home.”

Funny,
how someone you never knew existed
can become the pulse of your peace.
Can turn the chaos of my loneliness
into the symphony of “belonging.”

You were once
just a passing face
in a world of billions—
and now,
you’re the chapter I read
when I need to remember
why the wait was always worth it.

My favorite stranger.
The one I didn’t see coming
but now the one can’t imagine going without.

A Love Letter To Black Women:

Thank you for teaching me about protective hairstyles and protecting my loved ones. Thank you for showing me what it means to be unapologetically you.

All those times that you stood up when we were knocked down. All the times you greased my scalp and put Vaseline on my elbows.

The memories I have of you putting on Lauryn Hill and Whitney and singing at the top of your lungs to the point of losing your voices.

I love you with my whole heart, and say proud with my full chest that this piece is dedicated to you.

“You are perfect the way you are.”

Love,
Dorian

This piece was made for a collection of pieces I am working on called “Hairitage: A Reflection on Black Hair in Society”

Given that it’s the last day of Black History Month and next month is Women’s history month I wanted to pay tribute to all the black women in my life.

The entirety of this piece was cut and sewn by hand, and is almost fully completed. The last step that I need to do is add gold adornments, and the backdrop.

Shoutout to @jermaine_from_chicago @jabubuhd @frrecklesss for the denim donations that went into this piece

Shoutout to @itsbaghead for the amazing words to close out the video and looking forward to displaying the final piece 🙏🏾
