A couple of years back, Jacob Lee @jacobleemusic played a room this small. No stage, no barriers — just him, a mic, and everyone leaning in.

This is what we build every time ✨

Safe to say the lids are well and truly off at SpicyWax HQ as we approach an amalgamation of proven forces, cross-border connections, celebrations and returns. How exactly do you bottle all this up and present it? The only way we know how… a big fuck off party, with a big fuck off system, with a bunch of our nearest and dearest, both at the helm, and dancing on the deck. 🌶️

@ryskee_ and @jacksonwintex annual b’day bash packs a punch this year marking our 5th Rotating Rhythms. Continuing with our vision of bringing superior calibre selectors and bridging the gap between Aus & New Zealand, we are delighted to invite three of the finest from across the pond - return guest @logan_bakernz (@shipwreckednz ), @cameron_j_morris (@shipwreckednz / @club.121 ) and a name you know very well - Inx (NZ).

Not only that but after 5 months marooned in Fiji and nearly double that since being on the tools for SpicyWax, grandaddy Winter returns to his duties on and off the decks. Just when you think it couldn’t get much better, add in two of our most faithful lieutenants @joacoballester & @elcaballerotomas , our flourishing visual don @xatostencil , our favourite Sound System crew @thehexsoundsystem and the festive fashion recyclers @the.bowerbird.collective who have been with us from the start.

Pull your socks up and lock in your ticket before they set sail, the forecast for this one is looking XXL. 💥

Saturday July 11th, 6pm-6am, Sunshine Coast Warehouse space, BYO.

Sunday 12th of April marked the beginning of LA POWER — a celebration of music, art, diversity, femininity, self-expression, and serious dancing.

We started with the best collaboration possible: @chuleo.club , coming from Naarm/MLB. We’re beyond honoured to join forces with @lina_zabaleta_ and her Chuleo, she creates spaces where queer culture, latinidad, migration, and dancefloor politics meet. She is revolutionary and we march with her.

The dancefloor was alive all night. Bodies moving freely, with space!People connecting, and energy in every corner. There were emotional moments, unforgettable sets, and a reminder of why spaces like this matter. Together we built a night to center woman, FLINTA+, queer communities, and EVERYONE who understands the importance of moving with respect, care and freedom.

We saw organisations coming from Gympie, people coming from Brisbane to see their favourite dj, and all of this on a Sunday, in the middle of industrial Warana. Also April was packed with events, so it took an extra push — and it was worth it. We danced, we kissed, we sweat.

Massive love to our incredible lineup for shaking the room:
@lina_zabaleta_ @anitabqueen @clementaum @coollab_collective @legally_t_max @gateoftears @kellieodempsey @ryliebaye @_________micaela @jucanegret

And everyone behind scenes, organisers, door volunteers, sound and lights crew, stage crew, safety people, venue crew!! And friends just helping all around, thanks for making this happen

@surmusicandarts @joyserebrisky @arielgastao @lenamaffia @b0nnie_carter @poth45d @uma_lange_19 @grace_bonython @issybange @merygagliostro @mica_schettini @pilarcalvino @monzinmsc @francerutti_ @matiasmoratti @feervitali @teocatarinolo @karinaseljak @kxmdxn_ @s.t.o.n.e.w.a.x @bare.bone.soul

To everyone that came and bought the ticket! Your support is what makes this possible. This one was an expensive show to produce and we have a plan to make it sustainable, but today your ticket is what keeps the ball rolling so, sincere thank you.

And huge thanks to the incredible content crew! @melissahphoto @zionpoy and @deltalledo This is all their magic here so enjoy !!!

Ready for the next one ❤️‍🔥
