another year, another marrickville drinking cinematic universe short film festival. a night full of many amazin films filled with heart n soul. big ups to @astrolax, our film overlord, for orchestrating the whole thing, @mothership.marrickville for having us, @jules.sarantis for capturing the event, @jimweir_ n @jacobcollingsfilm for joining me on the jury, @maxlevelled for MCing, everyone for sending it on their short films, such a feat of strength, so much talent!!!! All smiles this weekend at @arcteryxausnz THE DESCENT.

There’s something pretty special about the trail community. You can turn up to an event surrounded by unfamiliar faces and somehow leave feeling like old friends. Add wild weather, great food, a pair of fast shoes and a course designed by the one and only @keithbuzzlightyear, and you’ve got a pretty incredible event.

Huge love to the team for putting this together. Feeling very lucky to be part of this little trail-loving bunch 🫶
