North Carolina FFA, you have my heart.

Thank you for welcoming this Washington girl with the biggest smiles and craziest adventures, even if it involved driving up one ways the WRONG way. I loved cherishing every moment. To the state officer team, North Carolina FFA couldn’t have asked for a better group to serve them this past year. I am so, so, SO proud of each of you and incredibly grateful I had the chance to get to know the six amazing people that North Carolina FFA has been lucky enough to call their state officers. And to my big love gang, I love y’all so crazy big!!

NC FFA State Convention 2026 🌟🥹

This convention was truly an amazing experience and honestly I’m still in shock. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to represent NC at the 99th National FFA Convention and for all the new friends and connections that I made during these three days! I’m glad my internet prowess finally made me some friends and that I got to partake in a lot of tomfoolery this year! Can’t wait for more fun next year!!😂

I still can’t believe my chapter for the first time EVER is able to go to National Convention and that we finally have our first state winner. I’m so honored and I can’t wait for all the new people I’ll meet and new things I’ll experience! See ya in Indy! 💙💛

Thank you, NC FFA, for one of the best State Conventions yet! 💙

This convention was more meaningful than any other FFA event I’ve attended. It taught me the importance of being self-sufficient, building genuine connections, and appreciating the people who continue to support me throughout my journey. I’m especially grateful for the new friendships shoutout @it_is_quinn and memories made along the way.

I’m honored to have presented the Reporter part of Opening Ceremony in Tamil representing my culture, served on Courtesy Corps and proud to have received my State Degree. Congratulations to my amazing friend and mentor Jillian @jillianszemereta @ncffasentinel on becoming a State Officer, and to the entire 2026–2027 State Officer Team. I can’t wait to see all the incredible things you accomplish this year!

Thank you, NCFFA

For a long time, I thought FFA was about competitions, degrees, conferences, and blue jackets.

Looking back through these photos, I realized it was always about people.

The people who welcomed me when I felt like I didn’t belong. The advisors who saw potential in me before I saw it in myself. The teammates, officers, members, and friends who encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and let my light shine.

What many people don’t know is that before I got involved in my high school FFA chapter, I was only seconds away from making the decision to attend a different school. Had I done that, FFA would have never been part of my story. Looking back now, I am incredibly grateful I stayed. One decision changed the course of my high school experience and introduced me to opportunities, friendships, mentors, and memories that have shaped who I am today.

A few years ago, I walked into high school carrying a lot of hurt and uncertainty. Today, I leave having served as chapter president, federation secretary, and surrounded by friendships and memories I never could have imagined.

FFA gave me a place to belong, a place to grow, and a place to become the person I am today.

Out of 8.3 billion people in the world, there is only one of you. Don’t hide your light. Let it shine.

Thank you, FFA. Thank you for helping me find mine.

When I tell you that I took two (not great) pictures of Quinn all of graduation weekend, it’s the God’s honest truth…and I took zero pictures at his graduation party. Not a single picture of Chris and I or of him with his sisters… but it happened and we were there and we celebrated! 🎉❤️💛 (I don’t even know who took this video, but I’m grateful to have it! 😂)
