This day was cold — like the coldest week in the dead of a Connecticut winter — but Eli double- and triple-checked every detail to make sure the moment was absolutely perfect for Mevlana. From the candles and rose petals to the exact spot where I would stand, everything was planned with such thoughtful intention to create the most beautiful proposal.

And the care didn’t stop at the details. The way Eli looked after Mevlana was something special to witness — making sure she wasn’t too cold, wrapping her in his coat between photos, always putting her first.

Wishing these two the happiest engagement and so much love and luck in their future together 🤍

Man what an exciting and unforgettable 5 years it's been. I've been blessed to meet so many new people, make so many new friends and form many new bonds that will last till I the day I die. I want to thank my family, my fraternity brothers, Raider Riot, my brothers that have been with me since I first stepped on campus and everyone else I've met on my journey. I cannot thank you all enough for your support and love throughout all of this. I truly wouldn't be here without any of y'all. This degree is not the result of just my work, but of the community and the support system I have had to guide me these last few years. Words can't accurately express how truly thankful I am for all of y'all. With the undergrad chapter of my life closing I cannot wait to see what's in store for the future!
