I think my smile in the first photo says it better than I can.

My designs on the runway at New York Fashion Week. Even writing that makes me smile 🤍

I know these pieces so well. Every colour, every bow, every detail I went back and forth on. Seeing them being worn on that runway, with New York all around us, was a moment I’m very happy I get to keep.

There’s so much of me in Aurelia. Making things the way I imagine them, putting them out into the world, and hoping someone else will love them too is such a personal thing. Days like this mean a lot.

To everyone who helped bring this collection to life, and everyone who has supported me along the way, thank you. Having people to share this happiness with makes it even sweeter.

I’m proud of these clothes. And I’m proud of myself, too. 🤍

Okay, this one earned a permanent spot in the camera roll. 😌🦋

AURELIA BY ARWA in @fashionweekonline’s New York Fashion Week coverage, from the @flyingsolonyc runway.

FWO describes Aurelia as “delicate yet assured,” highlighting the contrast between flowing silhouettes and sculptural shapes, with unexpected details revealed in movement. They describe the femininity of Whimsical Enchantment as “graceful, expressive, and quietly unforgettable.”

An espresso silhouette with our custom fur print combining animal and floral patterns, finished with a huge bow at the back. 🎀

Ok July 20th 4-9pm my cousin Brittney is having a jewelry pop up. Here’s a little sneak peak of some of the stuff that will be there. She’s made sooooo much Gold & sterling silver. Who wants to come?

Moment of clarity:

I want relationships with people who are here to work. Actively. Not who want to work or who will begin the work but who are actively working daily to bring their full selves forward. When I first had this thought it was accompanied by this “that is a drag. Who wants to be doing that all the time?” But the answer is me. It’s what I do all the time. Even when I am partying and bullshitting and having a good time. My hugest self is always woke, watching, open, investigating, going deep for questions and answers. nothing turns me on more than people willing to witness this work as well as do their own. People whose spirits are attuned to this frequency at all times. Who run towards it and not from it. Who are not afraid to look at it and show it to me. This is what love looks like where I live. This is the brick and mortar of my closest relationships and access to my deepest passions. This is what I must have in order to sit next to another human being for any significant amount of time.

The Lord is within her, she will not fail” -Psalm 46:5 .
