Slipmat returns for Vol. V at @theblackbearlodge

For the next chapter, international headliner duties fall to @fabe86 . Bringing his signature blend of 90s hip-hop influences, raw percussion and stripped-back house, with a focus on rhythm, restraint and groove.

Unfamiliar territory. Familiar intentions.

Say hello to Unit 2 — Summers, Camhi and Itha — three artists living at the deep, hypnotic end of the spectrum.

Summers and Itha are the pair behind Camp Paprika, the beloved Gold Coast and Brisbane crew behind some of the underground’s most unforgettable moments — marathon 14-hour BYO raves and immersive festival pop-ups at Modifyre, Rabbit Eats Lettuce and Bohemian Beatfreaks. A crew that build portals. Alongside them, Camhi brings the Chilean underground and his Andes Lab world.

Together as Unit 2, they run the vinyl-only SLIPMAT sessions and their new series Undercurrent, and now… they’re bringing all of it up the mountain.

Expect stripped-back rhythms and an hypnotic and untethered takeover. The kind of set where the music becomes sensation and time quietly disappears on you.
Come get lost with us ;)
