One of the things I’ve grown to find very impressive and admrable as I’ve grown older is the ability for some to turn their lives into words that are relatable. Beyond just the ability to retell a story that someone else could’ve also experienced, the skill of putting another person in the headspace where they can feel something only by the words on a page.

I was on a flight two weeks ago and the guy next to me noticed I was opening ableton and asked what kind of music that I made. We chatted a bit about the music industry and I asked him, a r&b artist himself, how he goes about songwriting. A he told me that a song is in any experience, you have you just have to find the right way to tell it. Whether that is finding the details to make a unique or the perspective that hasn’t been explored before, its there, the time and focus bring it to the top.

Will I unlock that skill? I’m not sure, but looking forward to trying

ROTATIØN V1: dropping this week!! 💫

The first of my series in partnership with @itn.theatelier | this one’s for fun and purely just a snapshot into what sounds I’ve been rocking with for Q1. A musical journey and documentation of how aura is evolving throughout the year - and I’m starting out with some energy lol. Hope you’ll enjoy from wherever you are in the world 🌐

Special thank you to @herstudiony @aquarosephoto for helping me bring this to life!! First of many 💗
