2008 is when Sapphire was established, but this right here was the first time we ever stepped into a full face-to-face battle, competition energy, all eyes on us, back in 2014. Years of practice, discipline, sweat, and belief led up to this moment. We had been training, building, sharpening our identity long before we ever stood across from another squad. When it was finally time to compete on a different level, it showed. I can’t even remember the name of the team we battled that day, it was a complete whirlwind, but what I do remember is how hard these girls worked, how locked in they were, and how much heart they put on that floor. Watching this now is wild. So many of them are mothers, leaders, and fully living their lives. It almost feels like yesterday, but it also feels like legacy in motion. This was history. The first ever Sapphire competition squad. 💎 #SapphireDanceLine #SapphireLegacy #CompetitionEra #FaceToFaceBattle #MajoretteHistory BuiltNotBought DanceLegacy FromPracticeToPerformance BlackDanceExcellence ThenAndNow ForeverSapphire 💎
