A little recap from Tuesday’s Heels class💋

Every week I’m reminded how special it is to share space with dancers who are willing to take the corrections, push past their comfort zones, and actually apply what they’re learning. Growth happens when talent meets intention, and y’all continue to show up ready to put in the work 👏🏾.

I won’t be teaching next week, but I’ll be back the following week.

Thank you to everyone who continues to train, trust the process, and bring your energy into the room. I appreciate y’all more than you know.

Keep practicing, keep pushing, and keep taking up space.✨

The Icarus by Kamauu | A Film By That Boy Matthew

Created in collaboration with Maurice Allen Jr. ( @_mauriceallenjr_ )and RK Filmz ( @rk.filmz_ ), and brought to life by some incredible dancers, this film is dedicated to honoring our ancestors who came before us and showcasing Black excellence. I wanted to reimagine that power through a futuristic Black Panther Party as a reminder that our history is not behind us, but it lives through us.

Creative Director/Choreographer: Matthew Crittenden
Musical Arranger: Maurice Allen, Jr.
Videographer: Ruby Kara
Music: Kamauu ( @kamauuworld )
