There was a time in my life when I thought becoming a nurse was the final version of who I was supposed to be. Eight years ago, The Ohio State University gave me the education, confidence, and purpose to step into healthcare and care for people during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

I never imagined that one day I would come back to the same university to earn my MBA.

This degree represents so much more than business classes, presentations, or late nights studying after 12-hour shifts. It represents growth. Reinvention. Believing that you are allowed to evolve beyond the version of yourself you once thought was “enough.”

Over the last few years, I’ve learned that ambition does not have to fit into one box. You can be compassionate and strategic. Creative and clinical. A nurse and an entrepreneur. You can build a life that reflects every part of who you are becoming.

To The Ohio State University and Fisher College of Business, thank you for shaping me in two completely different seasons of my life. And to my family, friends, classmates, coworkers, and everyone who believed in me along the way, thank you for carrying me through the moments where this felt impossible.

Coming back to the place where one dream began and leaving with another feels incredibly full circle.
