🐉✨Dragon Dreaming 2026✨🐉
What a way to close out September! We had a really nice delicious dragon this year dancing all night, swimming under the hot sun, watching the full moon rise and enjoying the coolest company ❤️ A huge thank you and big hugs to @ladyfoxperforms @its.me.icky @macgalleon and @misstaken.identity for a magical fourth Trip and Tease ❤️❤️ It was also pretty cool to take the Mushroom to the place she was conceived 😘✨

The show itself was reimagined in the face of technical challenges and I was blessed with an amazing cast, patient tech and a loving audience to create something so unique and unforgettable 💫 I also had the pleasure to be in Dragon's Hoard and Eyrie Improv - thank you for having me Misstaken, Mac and @empresseyrie I had so much fun! ✨

Big thanks to the @dragon_dreaming_festival and @izzy_sticks, it was such a pleasure to bring some fabulous burlesque, drag and blues back to Dragon 😍😍 We always have so much fun! Thank you @theeasytigerlounge for the lush venue and @donbarbernz for taking photos - look out for them! 👀

My reign as Mx Burlesque ACT has been so beautiful! 👑💖 I've been reflecting on this achievement (one of my proudest!) and the AMAZING opportunities and experiences I am so grateful for since being crowned Mx Burlesque ACT:

🍸Toured across Australia and the world! I have performed on big stages and in tiny bars across the Australian east coast, at least one outback Queensland town, in the US and Germany
🍸 Performed at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Tournament of Tease in Las Vegas with @jazida.burlesque and @cherrybomb_x, the first Australians to compete for Best Large Group!
🍸 Deepened many relationships and made new friends, too, who I treasure
🍸 Headlined shows and MC'd a couple, too!
🍸 Performed in several sold out shows
🍸 Performed at the Victorian Burlesque Gala 2026
🍸 Performed in three award winning shows in one week at Adelaide Fringe 2025
🍸 Took the mushroom to Berlin where I danced to a room full of people in awe in the early hours of the morning
🍸 Created four new acts, revamped two existing acts and improvised many more!
🍸 Judged the Apprentease ACT 2025 and 2026
🍸 Opened the Noosh’s first birthday party
🍸 Supported local artists, attending more shows and workshops than I could count!
🍸 Taught some workshops, even
🍸 A few amazing photoshoots with very cool photographers
🍸 Danced with live jazz and blues bands, which I have loved
🍸 Danced on a boat on the Thames until a crowd formed then danced right off the boat (it was docked dw haha)

That’s probably enough for now! ✨ I don’t usually list things I do like this, but I thought it would be ok this one time 😉 Younger me would be so thrilled by my life now and the cool things I have been able to do - she didn’t realise it was possible. It is 😍

NEW WORK ALERT FOR JULY!
We have a sensory stunning array of fresh ideas hitting the stage this month from @ravi_oli__ @strongman.sadman @glossytheeangel @duck.duck.luuce @the.only.adella @pink_viper24 @sarahstewartcomedy @chad_the_dad_drag Featuring comedy, dance, drag, projection mapping, live music, storytelling, bits, maybe a Bob and all together a full snack plate of works ready to play, test and connect with ya’ll.
.
Get ready to be Nooshed this cold July as we cheer on the creative bravery to road test new work and play together like its your 8th birthday and your mum has planned a bunch of activities for you and your friends to do in the backyard and it’s only now that you’re an adult and being goofy is harder you look back on the effort and realise growing up isn’t about getting older its that we stop playing and wow you really appreciated her effort and playing and being silly is harder in an era of perfection and the internet and its nice to be amongst palls who just want to have space to enjoy things for the sake of fun and creativity without the impending doom feeling that joy and creativity are mined from the soul to feed the machine and that you can have place to connect and recharge your creative juices to go out into the world and have that fresh juice fuel your big endeavours and kick ass projects cos play and creativity are not things to earn but are the things that make life worth living…… or something like that.
.
🎠We are sold out but door tickets will be available from 6pm, so brave the cold and we will aim to squeeze as many of you as possible into the toasty @funtimepony
♿️ Reminder that FTP is a downstairs venue with elevator access. Check out our Accessibility and Safer Spaces doc in the link in our bio for full access info about the event.

This week's hype up is the incredible chameleon @its.me.icky.

They do SO much for the local arts scene through their show The Noosh.

If you have never been, you are missing out but also perhaps because it sells out at the drop of a hat.

They are an arts darling and have been a staple in the scene for many years.

We adore you Icky!
