How meaningful is this?! We entered our first showcase @worldofdance_usa performance!!!

As Danzversity continues to grow, we find ourselves in places that were only a thought in the past. Our studio has pushed forward through so many obstacles.

Community is important - dance is the movement and we are here to continue making waves and spreading the energy we want to see.

We are so proud of this profound memory in Danzversity's timeline!!!

Thank you to our whole DanzVRSR Crew and amazing team leads for your commitment, love and support in believing in this mission and continuing forward to make dreams happen!

Happy Spring Show Body Lab ✨✨

Before we take the stage today, I want you all to realize how special this moment is. It will be 10 years June 1, a decade of passion, growth, hard work, friendship, courage, and heart. Every rehearsal, every correction, every moment you pushed through when things felt hard brought you here.

As I look at all of you, I don’t just see costumes, routines, or performances. I see years of memories. I see little girls who grew up in these studios. I see friendships that became family. I see tears, victories, disappointments, laughter, and moments that shaped all of us forever.

There were days we were exhausted, days we doubted ourselves, days we wondered if we were good enough, but we kept showing up for each other. And that is what makes this so special. Whether this is your first season or your last, you each helped shape who we are.

So when you walk on that stage, don’t dance thinking about perfection. Dance for every version of yourself that walked through these doors over the last ten years. Dance for the little kid inside of you who fell in love with this art form. Dance for each other.

Now take a deep breath, soak in this moment, and shine. Dance full out, love each other hard, and leave every piece of your heart on that stage. I could not be more proud of you.” ✨

Love, Mrs. Heather

🌟 What an unforgettable weekend! 🌟

As the proud owner of Body Lab, my heart is overflowing as we celebrate an incredible weekend at Ash Dance Convention! I am beyond proud of not only our incredible students but our amazing staff as well! 🏆✨ As I watched so many compete for their first time ever, I saw a sense of confidence, passion and incredible progress when they hit the stage. It filled me with so much pride-a pride that goes beyond any recognition.

Receiving Austin’s Overall Studio Award is so much more than an award….it’s the reflection of countless hours of passion, discipline, courage, and growth poured out by our dancers. Watching them rise to every challenge, push through every tough moment, and shine with confidence on that stage has been nothing short of inspiring. Their grit and grace amaze me every single day. 💫💃 And they are such supportive and compassionate young dancers.

Thank you to all our instructors and staff. Your commitment, creativity, patience, and love shape our dancers far beyond technique. You pour into them as artists, athletes, and young people navigating this world all while showing them what it means to be kind, resilient, and strong. You help them believe in themselves and that’s something no award could ever capture. 🙌💖

I’m profoundly grateful for this team and this family. What we have built together is special — a community rooted in encouragement, excellence, and heart. You don’t just teach, you transform. Thank you for everything you do — you are the heart of this studio and the reason we continue to thrive. 💫

Here’s to the memories we’ve made and the beautiful journey still ahead. Congratatulations to each and every one of you and for the amazing growth you all showed this weekend 💫🏆

Huge shout out to @hcindoor for bringing on @hay.jayjr for an adult hip hop class!

Who knew that would be a thing I pick up in my 40’s 🤣 ok maybe a few people could have guessed.

Don’t mind me while I get on my soap box about the healing power of movement.

I can tell my brain is lagging & my movement seems subdued but I see & feel SOOO much progress here.

10 years ago, I would have only wanted to sign up for a adult hip hop class. I wouldn’t have done it.

Last year, this class would have been SOOOO much more fun for me because my body would have been conditioned for it.

Today, I did what I could and along the way I made some new friends & danced with some ‘old’ friends (yes, I’ve been here long enough to have a few ‘old’ friends.) I learned some new choreo, created some new neural pathways in my brain and HAD A BLAST!

Praise that healing can be fun!

Join us Wednesdays 6:45pm at Hill Country Indoor!
