Last year I got a wake up call as I developed something called Acute Anterior Uveitis. I lost my vision and eyes were in excruciating pain. For someone who loves light, shapes it, and lives through their eyes, I felt like my entire way of life was over. It took 2 months to recover enough to accept a job shooting a feature in Burlington NC. I realized quickly I now needed glasses and had to trust my 1st AC more than ever with the focus. I relied on my team and they came through. Since that feature I’ve been more particular about what I shoot as I don’t know when I’m going to have another episode, and I don’t know if it’s going to result in an even worse loss. With that being said, I love what I do. I’m going to work as a filmmaker and help others achieve their dreams until I’m called to do something different, but even then I’d still make movies for fun. You can’t keep me from this passion! #learnfilmmaking #learnfilm #film101 #filmschool #filmeducation #director #cinematographer #filmmakerslife #gaffer #1stAC #keygrip #editor #soundmixer#controllight #shapelight #directorofphotogrqphy #producer #featurefilm #preproduction #principalphotography #filmnetwork #postproduction #indiefilmmaker #filmstudion #productioncompany #stunts #filmequipmentreview #filmequipment

Final touches straight to 100mph on set. Things had to flow and go! My team was on top of their game and killed it. You can’t sit down or ease up on “Go Time”!
