This week, we’re looking back with former Miss Thomasville Ana Chambers, Miss Thomasville 2025!

Then: Ana spent her year as Miss Thomasville sharing her community service initiative Adoption is an Answer. She was able to send out over 200 letters to adoptive families across the state of Georgia and read to over 1000 children in our school system about the importance of recognizing adoptive families. Ana competed at Miss Georgia and placed in the top 15 and became a diamond level Gem of Georgia!

Now: Ana is now attending Valdosta State University, majoring in elementary education! She is working to involve Valdosta in the Miss Georgia Organization, and dreams of competing at Miss Georgia again this year! Ana is still very passionate about her community service initiative and is remaining involved in campus activities. But of course, she still regularly comes home to visit sweet Thomasville.

Favorite Memory: Ana’s favorite memory from this year was cutting the ribbon at the rose show tent in downtown Thomasville, where they proclaimed Ana Chambers Day!

Looking back, Ana shares that the Miss Thomasville program helped her build forever life skills, confidence, friendships, sisterhood, and most importantly enabled her with scholarships to attend her first year of college completely debt free!

We love seeing where our former titleholders are now and celebrating the lasting impact of the Miss Thomasville program. 🤍👑

what an honor it was to receive a semi finalist award and the diamond achievement level trophy from my week at Miss Georgia! I finally feel fully rested again, and I can’t wait to see where the rest of my time as Miss Thomasville takes me! I can’t believe I only have one more month!

I want to extend a huge thank you to the organization and @trinaspruitt for making this week possible, I cannot wait to see where I go in the future of this organization!

After a few days of full rest, I finally feel energized enough to write this post 😂

I look back at everything that has happened since receiving my title last July. I completed my sophomore year at UGA, navigated an endometriosis diagnosis, partnered with Junior Achievement, worked with thousands of students, went to Harvard, appeared on TV twice, and had opportunities I never could have imagined, all while being a daughter, a sister, a friend, and just a normal 20-year-old girl.

When I look back at all those milestones from just one year, I can wholeheartedly say that none of it would have been possible without the Miss America Opportunity.

It’s funny, since coming home from competition week, I’ve received so many sweet messages. One that always makes me laugh is, “I’m sorry it didn’t go how you hoped.” And while I know those messages come from a place of love and support, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

I went into this year with one goal: to grow. And I did exactly that.

This year has been nothing short of a win. Competition week was simply the cherry on top of an incredible year. I grew closer to so many amazing young women who continue to inspire me, pushed myself beyond what I thought I was capable of, and most importantly, walked into competition week fully Sam and walked out fully Sam.

Looking back, I’m most proud that I embraced every moment, the exciting, exhausting, stressful, and joyful ones. Each helped shape an experience I’ll never forget and friendships I’ll cherish for a lifetime.

Many people have asked me what’s next, and honestly, I’m not 100% sure yet.

But I do know this: I’m going to keep chasing big dreams, serving my community, and showing up as the same Sam you’ve always known.

There are still so many goals I want to accomplish, so many people I want to serve, and so many dreams left to chase. While I’m not exactly sure what the next chapter looks like, I do know this journey is far from over.

Miss Georgia 2026, you were everything I could have hoped for and more. Thank you for the memories, the friendships, the lessons, and the opportunity of a lifetime.

I’m excited to see what next year has in store :)🤍

All smiles from Miss Georgia Week!!

I walked into this week with one singular goal, not necessarily to leave with a crown, sash and journey to West Palm Beach, but to leave with memories that would last me a lifetime. I left with the experience that I am most grateful for from the Miss America Opportunity; a sisterhood that leaves your cup absolutely overflowing.

I am honored to have been able to share my Miss Georgia experience with some of the most kind-hearted, joyous individuals who are all so beautifully made in their own way and share a common goal of making a difference in their community. These women have made me laugh till I cried, been a shoulder to cry on, and been the best support system a girl could ask for. I am eternally grateful to have been able to meet these sweet girls who share my interests, cheer on my goals, and have the greatest sense of humor of all time (last slide is a video of us all singing what was i made for in meow)

From planning our DJ side hustle X world tour in hair and makeup (stay tuned for updates this is NOT a joke), to celebrating each others successes and being a listening ear when the lack of sleep and the slightly-too-tight ponytail is getting to you, I cannot express enough gratitude for these women coming into my life!

To our sweet @sophiawootten YOU ARE GOING TO MISS AMERICA! I could not be more proud of you!! You are going to represent this state with such grace and so authentically. To the other 96 of you, I am so proud of you and so excited to see where your journeys take each and every one of you. I’m in your corner, always.

The people truly do make the place.

What a week it has been for the Miss Thomasville Organization!

Our hearts are overflowing with pride for our reigning titleholders, Ana Chambers and Kinley Harrison, and the incredible way they represented Thomasville throughout Miss Georgia week.

Ana shined brightly and earned a place among the Top 16 Semi-Finalists, a tremendous accomplishment on one of the most competitive stages in the country. Her grace, confidence, and dedication were evident every step of the journey.

Kinley had an outstanding week as well, earning the Producer’s Award, a special recognition that speaks volumes about her character, professionalism, and the impression she made on those around her.

While neither journey ended with a crown this week, they both represented our organization, our community, and themselves with excellence. We couldn’t be more proud of the young women they are and the example they set.

The best part? We get to keep BOTH of them for one more month! We are excited to celebrate all they have accomplished and continue cheering them on as they finish their reigns.

Thomasville, thank you for supporting these amazing young women all week long. Your encouragement means more than you know.
