POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Members of The UWI Dance Ensemble are in Trinidad and Tobago, and we are so excited to have been selected to showcase at @coco_dance_festival this year under the theme “Push Back”! 🇧🇧🇹🇹

We will be presenting “1937”, a work that pays tribute to the struggle and sacrifice of those who took part in the 1937 riots in Barbados.

We are proud to represent Barbados and The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, and look forward to sharing our story and connecting with fellow artists.

Thank you to @thencfbarbados and the UWI Cave Hill Campus for making this possible! And to @sealyjennifer / @dancinafrica246 , Ambassador David Comissiong, Hon. @ryanbrathwaite and Hon. @kaymcconney for their sponsorship assistance!

Not everything goes according to plan… and that’s what makes it fun! 🫣

Before Opening Night, there were a few missed lines, unexpected moments, and plenty of laughs along the way. Here’s a look at some of the bloopers from our first grand rehearsal. 🤣

Enjoy the laughs and let us know which moment was your favourite!
