$#BFUTR - Canada’s first National Black Tech Summit was awe-inspiring. Meaningful and truthful conversations took place and some tears were shed. ✨ It was a pleasure meeting some amazing women like Justina Omokhua, Senior Vice-President, Endeavor Brand Marketing, who reminded us to be nice while on our journey to happiness and excellence and Jennifer Jackson who reminded us to always be who we are, know our environment and know that we belong. ✨ ✨@globaltechmd, Chief Information Officer, Enterprise Technology Employee Experience at BMO, evoked the importance of pushing to have a seat at the table or we are just going to be on a menu. ✨ @pastorrobmeikle called to mind the importance to surround oneself with people that will uplift them not tear them down. ✨ While Mr #WesHall reminded us to be confident and to "Be Nancy {Pelosi} when you are in that room."✨ Congratulations to the @bptn_ca team for executing such a needed event in Toronto. It was a success. @afropolitan_canada pledges to bring 10 students to the #2020 edition! ✨ #tech #canada #bptn #bfutr$
