This letter means more than we could ever say🙏🏾😭❤️ Levi & @kanoaedgar received this beautiful hand-written letter from Josh who is not defined by all that he had to endure in life. His giving heart and compassion for theatre 🎭 companies that come to play at the @segerstromarts have brought so much joy to so many including Levi & Kanoa. Yes, it’s a blessing to travel the Country and see Levi live out his dreams; and yet Josh’s sweet letter serves as a reminder and heart check when we take a pulse of what is driving us, like what truly makes Us thrive and it’s simply this: This letter. This act of kindness from Josh who is 35 and has autism but autism doesn’t have Josh who loves Beauty And The Beast finding a deep connection to our Beast & the parallels that he has navigated through similarly like our beloved Prince.💛💙 We are so thankful to Josh for taking the time to write letters to both Chips and the compassion Josh has to make a super sweet basket filled with loads of candy & treats that the Chips ask Ms. @lisswaters if they can please grab a treat before, during and after the show🤣🍭🍬. Special thank you to our @beautymusical Company Manager @maiadawn for this special opportunity to learn about Josh & thank him for his thoughtfulness. I trust too like Josh, that Levi will fully understand all of this when he is older☕️🫧💜🌹 @segerstromarts @disneyonbroadway @disneytheatricals_ @beautymusical @kanoaedgar @maiadawn @itsaaron5 @theenchantedsms @kidsontourofficial #blesseebeyondmeasure #taleasoldastime @autismspeaks #theatrekids #kidsontour

Oh my goodness! #sᴛᴏʀʏᴛɪᴍᴇ As a Long Islander, yes, I am born & raised, we celebrate 🎉 our own, and so when @debbiegibson who lived a couple of towns from my hometown released her first song “Only in My Dreams” at the age of 16, which she penned when she was 14 years old, it was a big deal! Debbie’s debut album, “Out of the Blue” & that album spawned her first #1 hit – the ballad “Foolish Beat” – which made Debbie the youngest person to write, produce and sing a Number 1 single entirely on her own. When Debbie came out, we all rushed to @rooseveltfieldmall in search of a black hat just like Debbie’s hat. Debbie made me believe that dreams are possible & with her supportive Mom, I carried that in my heart, watching Debbie’s career skyrocket. I remember when Debbie made her Broadway debut on January 7, 1992, starring as Éponine in the legendary musical Les Misérables. Although I wasn’t able to go to Broadway shows, that never stopped me for rooting for our Long Island heroes & sheroes! Debbie also played Belle in @beautymusical on Broadway too. Debbie has accomplished so much & to know that she was at the show tonight & that my Levi would get the opportunity to meet Debbie, who was a child star in my generation, is the most incredibly wowest moment. When I picked Levi up from the stage door, he was so excited to tell me that he met Debbie Gibson. He said, “Ms. Gibson, Hi, my mom loves you so much & that she is from Long Island just like you’re from Long Island & she was always rooting for you.” That blessed my soul. Levi also shared that Debbie said to him, “tell your Mom, Strong Island.” I was so proud of Levi for representing me & honoring Debbie, a forever ICON. Thank you so much @disneyonbroadway @disneytheatricals_ @beautymusical, @maiadawn, @itsaaron5, @maestrodar, @theenchantedsms & Ms. @lisswaters for these core memories to last a lifetime x infinity. #taleasoldastime I still cannot believe that my baby just met @debbiegibson😭 📍 @smithcenterlv @kanoaedgar @kidsontourofficial 📸 by @lisswaters (thank you so much for always capturing these heartfelt core memories. We love and appreciate you beyond words) #theatrekids #DebbieGibson

Absolutely LOVE ❤️ this beautiful #walltag painted by our beloved Mrs. Potts, Levi’s BATB Mama, @christinarosehall who is super talented and a truly beautiful soul. On our travel 🧳 day in last week, Christina saw me struggling with all of our belongings and she helped us to our room. It’s a blessing to be apart of a loving #theatrefamily who are so selfless. It’s always a safe space for Levi to learn, grow and to thrive. We have had the best time here in #SanJose and we’ll never forget the #corememories made and our beautiful friends who all came out to support Levi and our show. Getting to finally meet you in person has blessed us beyond measure. We also loved meeting new friends too. Thank you to every #theatrekid and their families for always showing so much love and support. Your kind words are deeply heartfelt and we are so honored that God connected us with you! Extra special thank you to Levi’s fantabulous Child Guardian & Tutor, Ms. @lisswaters for always going above and beyond to capture these core memories. Miss Melissa ensures that the Chips never miss a celebration or an opportunity to partake in these impactful festivities. Signing a wall tag is a BIG deal and we’re eternally grateful for Melissa and our Beauty And The Beast family. We’ll miss you @broadwaysanjose_ 🩵🥀✨ It has been a joy and a blessing to have been your guest at the lovely San Jose Center of the Performing Arts🎭 @disneyonbroadway @disneytheatricals_ @beautymusical @christinarosehall @theenchantedsms @lisswaters @maiadawn @itsaaron5 @try.the.swing.stuff @littletownorch @maestrodar @kidsontourofficial

Ooooowweee, needed a minute to also process this #HappyTrails because @darrelltjoe is 1 of 1. What Darrell represented to Levi especially was to never shrink back from illuminating his #blackboyjoy✨ and that there is a seat at the table for Us all. Darrell was our Inclusion and Diversity Ambassador along with Josh. The programs that Darrell and Josh curated were intentional; impactful; meaningful; inspiring; heartfelt and affirming. The opportunities that Darrell and Josh extended to Us all through Beauty And The Beast and Disney Theatrical Group to learn about #BlackHistory and #AANHPI as well as celebrating all of our beautiful nationalities and embracing all that makes Us all each so unique and so beautiful as well as valued: These #teachablemoments are lessons that cannot be found in a history book. Darrell’s humor, style and presence are ICONIC. Darrell is a vibe. Darrell is fierce, he’s an advocate and an ambassador serving with compassion with a fire and commission for Us all to be seen and heard. Darrell’s impact on Levi’s life was this: Levi feels heard. Levi feels edified. Levi knows that he is worthy and valuable. Levi is proud to be an African-American young man. Levi feels apart of something so much bigger and greater. As a Mama, I know that God used Darrell to ignite and sharpen the fire 🔥 inside of Levi. We will miss you Darrell immensely! So many core memories made and so many affirmations you gave Us to be fearlessly Us. Levi now knows more than ever who he is and whose he is. We thank God for your beautiful light and we pray 🙏🏾 for the day that we can reconnect with you. We are forever blessed that God placed you in our orbit. We love you @darrelltjoe and Congratulations 🎊 on an incredible run! Forever @beautymusical family! @disneyonbroadway @disneytheatricals_ @beautymusical @darrelltjoe @theenchantedsms

Earlier this week we had the absolute honor and privilege to visit and tour @disneystudios✨We cannot even begin to share just how special this day was because Levi and I got to learn so much more about the inspiring life and dreams of Walter Elias Disney. What was so profound is the love and bond that his brother was Roy Oliver Disney, with whom he co-founded what is now The Walt Disney Company in October 1923; had for him. The love that Walt has for his beautiful family and humanity because he wanted to spread joy and happiness. Walking through the Studio Lot and visiting each building; one can’t help marvel at the tenacity and the hopes as well as dreams and how the Disney brand has evolved. We also got to walk past a @marvelstudios office door and even seeing the LA @lucasfilm office doors from afar: This all serves as reminders that nothing is outside of our view and dreams. “Walt Disney was without a doubt a visionary-a resilient man with an expansive imagination that allowed him to push for constant innovation and realize his grand enterprise without losing his sense of humor and reverence for art and true talent. He acknowledged early on in his career that if he was to take creative leaps, his greatest asset was not only technology but people.“ - writing on the wall in hallway of the Disney Studios’ Inking & Painting Department Getting to visit Walt Disney’s offices that are preserved in time was extremely impactful. We also visited Disney Legend Pavilion and soaked in all of the Disney Legend Plaques. Congratulations 🎊 to our newest Disney Legend Honorees. Levi got to hold one of Walt Disney’s Oscar Awards. It’s heavy and so beautiful too. Walt Disney won 32 Academy Awards and still holds the record for most individual Academy Awards won. Special thank you to our Disney Studios Tour Guide, Carlin for a phenomenal day that fanned the flames of our dreams & visions! Thank you so much to our BATB Publicist Amy, Company Managers, @maiadawn & @itsaaron5, @disney @disneystudios @disneytvstudios @waltdisneyarchives @disneyanimation @disneyonbroadway @disneytheatricals_ for a truly inspiring day! #disneystudios “It’s kind of fun to do the impos
