We’ve got Phoebe performing The Last Post.
We’ve got Soldiers of Swing taking centre stage at half-time.

And there was one more person we simply had to bring back to complete the day…

RICH HAWKE IS BACK ON THE MIC!

Rich was a huge part of our last One Goal United event, bringing everything together from start to finish.
The music, the announcements, the information, the atmosphere and most importantly, making sure the whole day flowed and everyone felt part of it.

Anyone who has attended sporting events around Sheffield will know exactly why Rich is so highly regarded. His experience, personality and ability to engage a crowd make him one of the best around at what he does.

So when it came to planning such an important occasion on Sunday 8th November, we knew exactly who we wanted behind the microphone.

We’re absolutely delighted that Rich has once again agreed to give up his time and join us as we come together to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, honour those who have served and continue to serve, and raise vital funds for Help 4 Homeless Veterans.

And Rich Hawke guiding us through the day.

It’s shaping up to be a very special occasion.

Welcome back, Rich.

It was brilliant to welcome Rich from @itsallaboutthenoise to OxyClinic Wellness today! 🙌
With a busy schedule filled with dancing, presenting, hosting and commentating, Rich is always on the go - so it was great to give him some time to focus on his own wellness and recovery.

MEET MISSY OUR OFFICIAL ONE GOAL UNITED CLUB MASCOT!

We are absolutely delighted to introduce the newest member of the One Goal family… Missy!

Missy is an 11-year-old rescue Staffy with quite a story behind her.

After being used for breeding and then abandoned, she was found on the streets severely underweight. She was rescued at around four years old and finally given the loving home she deserved.

Despite everything she had been through, Missy never lost her love for people.

She loves attention, tummy tickles, treats and apparently she's a bit of a football fan too!

Now 11, Missy is living with severe arthritis in both elbows and recently underwent surgery to help keep her comfortable. But you'd hardly know it from her personality she still acts like a puppy!

For us, Missy ticks every box.

She's a rescue. She's overcome a difficult start in life. She's full of character, loves people and represents the kind of community spirit that One Goal was created around.

We couldn't think of anyone better to become the official mascot of One Goal United.

We can't wait to welcome Missy to our matchdays, introduce her to the players, families and supporters, and have her alongside us as we continue raising money and awareness for some incredible causes.

Just one warning… if it's raining, don't expect her to be leading the teams out!

Welcome to One Goal, Missy. You're officially part of the family.

One Goal. One Community. United Together

A really productive first meeting with Help 4 Homeless Veterans.

It was incredibly humbling to sit down with Steve and the team and hear some of the stories behind the charity, the veterans they support, and just how much hard work has gone into getting their Rotherham halfway house to where it is today.

What they have achieved is incredible and hearing first-hand about the difference this support can make only reinforces why our match on Sunday 8th November means so much to us.

Now it’s about bringing everything together for what we hope will be a very special Remembrance Sunday charity match.

We are incredibly proud to be doing our small part for veterans who spent years serving and protecting us, both at home and overseas, but who unfortunately found themselves facing difficult times after leaving the Armed Forces.

What Help 4 Homeless Veterans is doing is amazing. They’re not just offering somewhere to stay they’re helping people rebuild, find stability and move forward with their lives.

With kind hearts, determination and people willing to come together, unbelievable things can happen.
We’re proud to stand alongside them on 8th November.

More details on the match and everything we have planned will be coming very soon.
