4 months later….. this has been by far one of the hardest chapters in my life. Living with Crohn’s Disease is an everyday battle but one thing I will always do is fight! These clips are pieces of a long and hard journey that I survived. I’ve gone from long hospital stays, 2 surgeries (one life saving), almost 2 weeks in ICU, home nurse care, wound vac therapy, an ileostomy, many complications, multiple surgeon and wound care visits in a week and around the clock care to finally standing on my feet and being whole again! I have never had so many defeating moments than I have experienced over the last few months. I’ve gone through hell and back, but God has been so good, my family has been amazing and I can never repay them for what they did for me! I am so blessed to have D.C, he held me up through each and every phase of this and without him I wouldn’t have made it to this side. Thank you everyone who continued to send prayers and encouragement! I am so grateful, I’ve found strength I didn’t know I had and by the grace of god I am here and I am whole…. 2 surgeries down, one more to go 🙃 My dream is to master this disease and I WILL piece by piece but until that day the fight continues 💜 #crohnsdisease #crohnswarrior #crohnie #crohnsawareness #ostomates #crohnsandcolitis
