For this shot in the Great Hall, we started by filming @calliemaxson fighting our guards @mikeball25 and @hippie_crypte on the green screen inside @light_forge_studios and made sure to place clearly visible markers in frame to track the camera movement.

Then, using our overhead map of the room, we were able to determine the correct angle for each background character. The most time consuming part was compositing all the separate layers together. This included a miniature version of the main table we filmed in our living room! With nearly 30 VFX shots, the Great Hall scene was the most complex in the film.

Big thanks to @arhatorphanbrotherhood for the awesome fight choreography! Also, gotta mention @fomodesignlab for all the incredible costumes!

Leave us a like and stay right here for more “behind the scenes” content for Margaret the Brave!

Starting TODAY I’m doing this challenge to be the face of HORROR! (I know. I’m already the face of horror.) But winning this challenge will let me hang out with Kane Hodder, the man behind the mask who likes swimming in lakes, Crystal Lake. JASON! Kane and I would be going on a GHOST HUNT together. I’m hoping Kane brings the mask to scare the pants off the ghosts. So there’s a photo shoot with Kane and I. I would get featured in Rue Morgue Magazine. And oh, yeah, I have a chance to win $13,000! So check out the link and please vote for me!
