NYC! If you are free this weekend, you should make your way down to @illumination.nyc 💡Some of my dearest friends have toiled for years to build this amazing festival and it has been amazing to watch it grow from it’s inception!

Day 1: Take ✌️

So many shining moments, we had to share more.

Over a dozen light art installations for you to enjoy tonight and tomorrow. If you’re reading this come on down to Wagner Park - you. will. not. regret. it. 💥

No matter how much I prepare, the playa always has something else written for me.

Beautiful chaos. Unexpected surprises. Those ridiculous little aha moments that somehow arrive with such perfect timing, you start to believe everything really is written in the stars, and of course, the naughty playa will deliver it in the most dramatic way possible.

For me, the playa is relational. It keeps teaching me to let go of control, surrender to the unknown, and trust what’s growing when I truly connect with people.

Our whole life is just one big divine comedy. We try so hard to understand it while we’re living it, but in the end, NOTHING MATTERS

The tears. The joy. The heartbreak. The absurdity. One day we’ll laugh about all of it and just be grateful that we fucking got to experience it, TOGETHER

“You might find your way home
You might already be home
After all, there is no place like home.”

We spend so much of our lives wondering where we belong. Who will accept us. Where our roots are. When will we finally go back. But when we find comfort in ourselves, everywhere feels like home.

Illumination night one recap 💥🪼 see you tomorrow! I loved all the dogs that came to visit, so cute! 🥰 @illumination.nyc 💥🥹😍 I’m on this metal porch over the water and it’s so beautiful, the sound is amazing! but the water was really violent today and splashing all over my equipment, very intense.
