Truly couldn’t think of a better way to end this tour in Tampa and West Palm. The perfect homecoming.

I had family see me play big stages for the first time. Something little me always dreamed of. I had my wife side stage see all the years of never quitting finally pay off. I played my hometown amphitheater where I saw my heroes play from the back fence of the lawn section.

The @lukebryan band and crew showed nothing but love. So refreshing to see that playing with a legacy act. Saw familiar faces and made new friends with the other support acts and so stoked to play along side them.

I’ve always wondered what it’d be like to play stages like these. To feel how it triggers all the senses, does it play out how you think it will? Do you feel it in your chest like the first hit of the kick when you’re standing in the pit?

Ive found you can play the biggest venue and put on your best show, but when you play a show that is pure and symbiotic nothing beats that. The 30 something minutes you’re on stage around the people who mean the most to you outweighs any place on the planet.

So thankful for these moments and I just hope I get to keep doing this as much as I can for as long as I can.

An evening surrounded by the people who make Focus possible. 🙂

Thank you to our Sustainers, Board Members, Advisory Council, partners, & community supporters who joined us for our Networking & Donor Appreciation Happy Hour.

Our programs are growing, our vision for the future is taking shape, & none of it happens without a community that believes in the individuals and families we serve.

Where would we be without our incredible volunteers & supporters? 💙💚

They play a critical role in helping the Focus programs thrive & moving us closer to our vision of creating a residential community in Tampa Bay where individuals with developmental disabilities can build greater independence, connection, & belonging.

Interested in giving back? There are so many ways to get involved! Volunteer at our events, become a monthly donor, host our students and clients at a volunteer site, sponsor an event, or support our programs through an in-kind donation.

Every contribution helps move our mission forward.

Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and came out to support me and my dreams. The energy in the room was electric. Any chance I get to inspire other women brings me closer to my purpose and reminds me why I started this podcast.

This event wouldn’t have been possible without @k_pasa_ ! Thank you for pouring your heart into this and believing in me. She planted this seed and everything turned out better than I imagined. I’m so proud of your accomplishments at this beautiful venue on Clearwater Beach - girl boss frfr! 🥹

Once I started planning, I couldn’t imagine doing it without @aprilmichellejaquez by my side! I’ve looked up to April since the day we met 10+ years ago. Week 2 Challenge starts this week! You can try as many times as you’d like, but you will only submit ONE score. Scores will be added at the end of the week for MAX meters per team. Most meters overall takes home the win. The two biggest rules are these: •••SET THE ROWER TO COUNT DOWN FROM 1:00. And •••KEEP YOUR ELBOWS IN CONTACT WITH THE ROWER SEAT THE ENTIRE MINUTE. Have fun, friends! And good luck!

Week 1 Intramural challenge begins when the gym opens on Monday, February 23. The challenge runs all through the week and ends when the gym doors close after the last class on Friday night, February 27. Athletes record individual results, but the final score is the sum of the whole team’s meters accumulated. This challenge must be completed at the gym during CFPC’s business hours. To reduce the chance of disruption to classes, this challenge must be completed using the meter markers outside.
