About this weekend. ❤️

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank @yvonnewithers1111 and @socalblackchamber for taking the time to recognize and present me with this incredible award.

The service has always been for the People, but the acknowledgment is deeply appreciated.

This recognition made me pause and truly reflect on who I am at my core. And when I look back, I realize that supporting, encouraging, and showing up for others has always been a part of who I am. Even in school, I was the person who found ways to support others—so much so that those in leadership made sure I was recognized in our announcements as the “Publicity Coordinator.”

I believe that was part of the foundation my mother gave me. She raised me to be a giver, a supporter, and someone who leaves things better than I found them. She instilled in me a strong work ethic, but more importantly, she gave me a heart that understands the value of serving others.

I’ve seen many faces of this world. I’ve experienced the highs, the lows, the victories, the disappointments, and everything in between. Yet through it all, I continue to live by the Air Force core values that have shaped so much of my life: Integrity First. Service Before Self. Excellence in All We Do.

And while I’m proud of the person I’ve become, I know I didn’t get here alone.

To my family and friends—you shower me with a kind of love and support that allows me to continue showing up as my most authentic self. You are my reason, my encouragement, and a constant reminder of why I keep going. I love you all more than words can express.

I’m proud of my journey. I’m proud of the memories I’ve created. And I’m grateful for every person who has been a part of the story.

Thank you for reminding me just how deeply loved I am. ❤️

My hope is that the legacy I leave behind is one of tremendous impact—a life that made people feel seen, supported, encouraged, and loved. A life that brought smiles to people’s faces and made the world just a little better because I was here.

And most importantly, I hope my mother can look at the life I’ve lived and know that the world is better because she was here first.

This one is for the legacy. ❤️

The Year was 2017. Brent and I won Halloween. The entire weekend was ruined because the Dodgers were in the World Series and not even a 6 run lead was safe. Turns out the other team was cheating. Here we are today. I’ll never forget this day OR that World Series.
