🇺🇸 Story Time: I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to compete for my spot on WKC team USA this year. My brother’s high school graduation was on one of the days that I would have to compete. No brainer, I wasn’t about to miss his graduation. When I told him I wasn’t going to national’s he quickly turned me down. He reminded me how hard I have been working and how he didn’t want me to pass up this opportunity……He also told me I better make the team because he wants to go to Spain😂. Usually I don’t even look at my phone when I’m competing. I spent every second not on the mat on FaceTime in between divisions. Im grateful that I was able to see him walk the stage, and even get in a pic. It was hard not having him there, not having my mom or dad there either. It was a reminder that if you want something really bad, you have to be willing to sacrifice. I’m going to Spain in October on a mission. I didn’t miss my brother’s graduation for nothing. These gold medals are ours @josiah_jjr I’m proud of you bro, and I’d choose you fr every time, but thank you for not letting me choose.
-Thank you to everyone who asked me did I need anything while my family wasn’t there. Thank you for checking on me, offering to pray with me, cheering for me, up dating my parents, tightening my belt, taking pics, all that. I appreciate you all. - #iammalachi

Wow! What an amazing weekend!

Over the weekend, TMA competed at the WKC Nationals for a spot on WKC America: Team USA and to compete at the WKC World Championships in Cádiz, Spain this fall. 🥇

Competing to represent our country is the highest honor in our sport and each team member qualified to compete!

Thank you Mr. Richard Plowden and to his family, his staff of judges and assistance who hosted a great weekend of karate competition! 👏🏻

Now it’s time to prepare for worlds in Spain. Let’s go!!!🥋

Attended the @quebecopen this weekend with Bryce. Amazing to see him holding his own in the 18+ mens division with competitors he's looked up to for years. Also, tons of fun watching him compete against friends as well.
