A little "Selfie Action" from DAY 1. . . It was such a great vibe to start our film with these scenes and this cast. Such a talented ensemble of actors... It really helped us get into a fantastic grove which set the time for the next 4 days. . . AND!, if you put your thumb up and block that thing in the middle with the grey shirt, it really is a great photo! 😂🤣 😭. . . Here's to 3 amazing women, who are killing it! You guys ROCK! . . BTS 📸 by Joanne Perica ( @joanneperica ), with Julie Berry ( @juliejberry ) and Gley Viera ( @gleyviera ). . . Stay tuned!

A little "Flashback Friday" with another little gem from DAY 5!!! . . I can't ever forget about the man responsible for every frame of our film...not only is he an amazing Director of Photography, but someone I consider a great friend. Some might say that it is rare to find those people that are always willing to jump onboard and work with you on your personal (and some may say "crazy") projects, but I've been fortunate to have so many of my "work family" who have supported me through these last few years on these projects, and Randy ( @randyvaldesfilm ) is one of them. . . Can't forget about Chloe ( @thechloenicole ), so focused on that slate, and the entire Camera Dept. that cycled through the 5 days of filming...you guys ROCK! . . Of course Julie Berry ( @juliejberry ) had to photobomb this shot. . . Not sure who snapped this photo... . . Stay tuned!

One more from DAY 5!!! . . The great mystery of the prop camera roll. If our very own Pablo Cunqueiro ( @cunqueiropablo ) is in this frame, WHO TOOK THE PHOTO??? Inquiring minds need to know . . Using my camera as a prop for the "Photoshoot Sequence" has given us these great candid moments on set both while performing or in between scenes. Drop your thoughts in the comments below and let us know who you think snapped this great pic. . . 📸 BTS credit: ??? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . . Stay tuned! . . As always, "Thank you" to everyone that pitched in and help us make this a reality. . . #ShortFilm #FilmPhotography #Script #Director . . #Miami

BTS jewel from DAY 5!!! . . Of course we have some of the talented Julie Berry ( @juliejberry ) ... How could we not . Using my camera as a prop for the "Photoshoot Sequence" has given us these great candid moments on set both while performing or in between scenes. Is this Julie being Julie or is this LORRIE in full "Photoshoot Mode"? We might never know, but drop your thoughts in the comments below and let us know. . . I'll give BTS Photo Credit to Pablo Cunqueiro ( @cunqueiropablo ) who was behind the lens while we filmed our scene... BUT!!! Tomorrow will raise an interesting question. . . Stay tuned! . . Another BTS jewel from DAY 5!!! . . So we used my camera as a prop for the "Photoshoot Sequence" and I discovered these photos that were taken throughout the day a few days ago (more like 2 weeks ago)... Anyways, I think these are GREAT!!!! So I'm sharing with you! . . I'm pretty sure that this one (there are more coming!) was also taken by Pablo Cunqueiro ( @cunqueiropablo ) while we filmed our scene. . . What a cool moment captured of the talented Patrick Manos (@manospatrick ). I'm pretty sure I know exactly where in the scene this is... But who knows! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . . A little BTS jewel from DAY 5!!! . . We used my camera as a prop for the "Photoshoot Sequence" and I just discovered these photos that were taken throughout the day... It's like Christmas in March (is that a thing?)! . . I'm pretty sure that all these (there are more coming!) were taken by Pablo Cunqueiro ( @cunqueiropablo ) while he performed the scene with our incredible cast. . What a great moment captured of the talented Carolina Speroterra ( @speroterra ). Definitely in between takes, cause I didn't write this for "Wardrobe Beth" (IYKYK). . . Another BTS from our last day on set! This is what I wanted to do with a previous post, but I may (or may not) be Instagram illiterate... To be determined. . . Our Cast & Crew from that day, but certainly not everyone who devoted time and effort into this project. . . This is always a bitter sweet moment... So incredibly grateful to have completed this stage of the film making process, but a little saddened to know that our time together is over. And even though I've had the chance to work with so many of my Crew Members since, my Cast had been off to budget and better things. But we can't wait to reunite with everyone at our special film screening and (fingers crossed 🤞🏼) the hopefully many film festivals we get accepted to. . . Stay tuned to see our progress and what happens next . . #ShortFilm #FilmPhotography #Script #Director . . #Miami

Some more "Behind the Scenes" ... This time from Day 2. Our incredibly amazing Wardrobe Stylist, Daniela Velazco ( @stylebymdv ), doing "last looks" on @juliejberry in between takes. . . From pre-pro through production, Daniela was a complete pro. With her preparation and creative "Wardrobe Specs" for each of our characters, it made the whole process enjoyable. Not to mention her attention to detail on set which helped us out tremendously in keeping continuity. She ROCKS! . . BTS 📸 - @chadmow_ . . Stay tuned for some amazing news . . #WardrobeStylist #ShortFilm #Film #Director #Miami . .

A little BTS from our last day on set! There's a lot to "unpack" from this photo. . . Day 5, our last day of principal photography. Got to spend it with these (and many more) amazing crew members. (From L --> R): Guillermo Ursini (@guillermo_ursini ) SOUND Some "Crazy Guy" Randy Valdes (@randyvaldesfilm ) DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY Hector Perez (@hectorperezb_ ) KEY GRIP . . We survived 5 days of filming, but I had the pleasure and fortune of going through the process with some of the most talented Cast & Crew I could have hoped for. . . Physically drained and mentally exhausted, we had to finish up on a long and hot day at our "Beach Set". During the preproduction process it was brought up several times to film this day earlier in our shooting schedule... It would have made it easier location-wise, maybe save some money, and logistically speaking we would have been able to have a few more location options, but I would have really drained the crew early on, probably would have created makeup issues with our talent being in the sun all day (thinking continuity wise), so this was the only real option. . . Glad I stuck to my plan and kept to the schedule... In the end, I couldn't be more excited about the magic we created. Can't wait to share this, so stay tuned for updates. . . "Thank you" to everyone that pitched in and help us make this a reality. . . #ShortFilm #FilmPhotography #Script #Director . . #Miami

A little "Behind the Scenes" from Day 1. . . What a great vibe to start principal photography by working with these amazing actors; the incredibly talented Julie Berry, Joanne Perica, and Gley Viera. After the table reads and rehearsals, fittings, and photoshoots, it was exhilarating to finally get on set to start filming ... My favorite part! . . A huge "THANK YOU" to my entire Cast & Crew that came along in this journey. . . Some amazing news coming soon! . . #ShortFilm #IndependentFilm #IndieFilmMaking #Director #Actor

A little "Behind the Scenes" from Day 4. . . One of my favorite moments while working on this film. Getting to work with a talented actor and explore their character to get an incredibly believable performance. So much credit goes to the talented Julie Berry ( @juliejberry ) who took this character, dove into her motivations, experience, reactions and crafted a world from which to deliver an honest and credible performance. . . Thank you for coming along this ride and making a great experience. . . BTS 📸 - @bugsy305 . . Stay tuned for some amazing news. . . #ShortFilm #IndependentFilm #IndieFilmMaking #Director #Actor . .
