Born into a family where music seemed to run through everyone’s veins, @itschanellii found her voice by turning her thoughts, emotions, and life experiences into songs.

What started as writing down feelings eventually became a true passion, allowing her to express the things that are often hardest to say out loud.

Her music is deeply personal, inspired by real situations, relationships, love, heartbreak, dreams, and everything in between.

Although music was always present in her life, it became something much more serious in early 2025. She realized it was no longer just a hobby or something she did for fun.

It became something she needed. After growing up facing challenges, including watching her mother struggle with addiction and losing her stepfather at just 16 years old, music became an outlet that helped her process life and keep moving forward.

Since then, creating has become a daily part of who she is.

Her creative process is never the same twice. Sometimes a beat immediately sparks a story she wants to tell, while other times inspiration finds her in the middle of the night, lying in bed and filling her notes app with lyrics pulled straight from her thoughts.

That raw honesty is what gives her music its emotional depth and relatability.

One thing people may not expect is that she grew up in a very religious household. And despite her artist name being @itschanellii , her real name actually isn’t Chanel.

For her, music is more than entertainment. It’s a reflection of survival, growth, emotion, and the journey that shaped her into the artist she is today.
