this session has been nothing but a blessing!! 🌞 we made some pretty happy campers in the snack bar, and it was all for His glory!! over 300 campers said YES to Jesus during just the Wyldlife weeks!!!!

i couldn’t have done it without the strength of the Lord, the BEST summer staff team, and the unity of our missional community that was built throughout camp. so incredibly grateful for these people and the opportunity to serve alongside everyone!!!

Do you want a Happy Camper?

What’s in it, you might ask? Well, it’s a mystery. It can be filled with all sorts of interesting and amazing things or even stuff that can be different, but just as good. When you throw them all together, they stick. Placed in a cup where unity is truly showcased.

That pretty much sums up my summer staff experience. And exactly why it’s a Young Life favorite.

Click, Click, Pull, Pull🪢

These past two weeks I had the opportunity of serving the Lord at Rockbridge! I was able to work with my Capernaum friends on the ropes course, swing and tower! I had the privilege of learning the Lord more than I did coming into the session, I learned how to relay on others, and the Lord in times I only wanted to relay on myself. During this time I learned how to lean on the Lord all over again- through needing patience, or energy, or even just joy. The Lord continues to show up and provide in the hard and good times :) I gained life long times friends, sisters and brother in Christ and for that I am beyond grateful for this and the opportunity I was given!

John 13:34-35:
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

This past month, I worked on summer staff at Rockbridge Alum Springs in one of the greatest experiences of my life. I made lasting memories, lifelong friends, and unforgettable moments that I will never forget. I served on the ropes course, and the big swing and rock wall tower, while being able to help middle schoolers and friends with disabilities have one of thr best weeks of their lives. I am so incredibly blessed to have been a part of this group, and thank you to every single person who made this one of the best months of my life. God bless.

A blessing would be an understatement to describe this past month Over the past month I was gifted the opportunity to serve the Lord at rockbridge alum springs Younglife camp. And making the decision to serve was one I will never forget. Watching over 300 students giving their life to Christ is an experience like no other. I have truly been blessed with this opportunity and with the community I was able to share while I was here. I will never forget this experience and I will never forget all these wonderful people. Give thanks to the Lord for he is right and just.

Jesus led me straight home. I couldn’t be more grateful for my experience and the people I met along the way. I got to watch 339 kids turn their chair. I got to worship deeply everyday. I got to experience friendships I hope to maintain forever. All thanks to Jesus Christ my savior. All glory to God!
