As many may know and some may not, last year on October 3rd I slipped and fell while at work. I've been on the road to recovery and battling with workers comp for almost a year now. I can gladly say during this time I've been blessed with community and family that has helped me carry the struggles that come with healing. I am so grateful for my village that surrounded me in loud ass laughter, joy filled memories, damn good food, and undying encouragement. During this time I've obtained counsel to help mediate the battle with workers comp, but have received barely any treatment or compensation throughout the process. As the one year mark approaches I am still unable to return to work and reached the disability limit eligible in Oklahoma without surgery. As a result I'd like to ask the community around me for all the help I can get. Thank you in advance from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has or will choose to extend love and care to me during this transition in life. I can only tag 20 and can only add so many photos, but moral of the story: choose to live life happily and embrace the ones around you who strive to do the same. Unctie love y'all🖤✌🏾

you also decide who gets to experience you
who deserves it
who has earned it
who you want at your weddings
who you want at your death bed

i’m still trying to figure out who will be the ones i continue this walk with. even when people you care for talk about you. those people don’t know you like the ones who are there for when you’re crying and when you’re celebrating. life is so complicated. i feel so grown but in reality i haven’t seen a damn thing yet :/

i’m just trying my best .
