This ambient composition explores the transformation of hell into paradise in real time.

[…]

“Thinking about the ending changes the experience of the moment itself, and we begin to lose the paradise we were experiencing. The abrupt cut at the end of the composition marks this shift. It is the point at which the awareness of the ending interrupts the experience and brings us back towards Morton’s hell.

The traces of hell therefore remain present throughout the piece. Paradise does not come from removing them, but from being able to live within the moment despite their presence.”

bio: Dalga Hashmetoglu is a DJ and producer based in Berlin. She began playing piano at six, taught by her grandmother, and holds a BA in Art from the University of Reading and an MA in Fine Arts from RUFA in Rome, where she released an experimental techno EP with Space Echo Studios and co-founded Collective Mood, a collective spanning Rome, Berlin and Turin.

𝐒𝐚𝐭 𝟏𝟗.𝟎𝟗 - 𝐉𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐩𝐭 (𝐃𝐄), 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐠𝐚 & 𝐃𝐉 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐯

This Saturday, Jolene Invites brings together three selectors with a shared taste for depth, movement and detail.

Camov leans into warm, spacious grooves with room to breathe, while Dalga threads minimal, house and techno through a more restless, rhythm-led lens. rosiecpt pushes further into dub, low-end pressure, washed-out delays and digital textures, shaping immersive sets that feel detailed, heavy and slightly psychedelic.

Deep grooves, heavy low end and plenty of room to get lost.

Lineup:

- rosiecpt (DE)
- Dalga
- DJ Camov

𝐒𝐚𝐭 𝟎𝟒.𝟎𝟕 - 𝐉𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐆𝐞𝐡𝐧𝐲𝐞𝐢 (𝐈𝐓) & 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐠𝐚

Jolene Invites returns with another late-night journey through the underground. And if you’ve ever stayed at Jolene until the lights came on, you probably know the feeling: the best nights aren’t usually the loudest, they’re the ones that slowly pull the whole room together.

Opening the evening is Berlin-based DJ and producer Dalga, whose sound moves fluidly between minimal, micro house, and techno. Built on dynamic grooves and emotional textures, her sets favour subtle movement over big moments, gradually drawing the room into focus.

Taking over for the closing stretch is Mary Gehnyei from Rome. Deeply influenced by Detroit house and years of dedicated record digging, her selections blend warm basslines, soulful percussion, and hypnotic grooves with effortless flow. Fresh from her debut release Afterhouse 03, mixed by Donato Dozzy, she’s quickly becoming one of the most exciting names in the new wave of deep house.

Slow burners, deep grooves, and plenty of moments to lose yourself in.
