7 years after my Mimi went to heaven, we finally found a beautiful weekend with all of our immediate and extended family to celebrate her in the place she loved most and spent some of her early childhood years. It also became the site for many of our family reunions in her later years. Today couldn’t have been more perfect- Great family time, baby bear and bald eagle sightings, brilliant fall foliage, and remembering our Mimi and the immense treasure she was to all of us. I wore my grandfather, Pops’ flannel to feel like I was taking a part of him along with us. I’ll share more pics later, but for now I’m still taking it all in with heaps of gratitude.
