@directmotorsportuk took on a mammoth job the day before @dpad_driftstyle - In just 9 hours Doug managed to:

- Polybush the rear end
- Solid engine and gearbox mounts
- Cut & weld a bent control arm
- Weld up my exhaust
- Wire in an electric fan
- Fix a power steering issue
- Change many tyres

Huge thankyou again to Doug @directmotorsportuk for keeping the car up and running and continuing to improve and upgrade it ❤️

What a sick day with some sick drivers. Best way to describe it. Few ups and downs but ended the day on a high with some sick runs with @itsleelockwood. Thanks to @directmotorsportuk for getting me back up and running after the pothole smashed my car up 🙄😅
.
. Shoutout to @rob_exclusive for the invite and putting on a sick show! When’s round 2👀

So, after 130+ hours of labour the engine bay is complete, the subframe has been fully reinforced and painted & the engine is in and running.

Still a few bits to tidy up on the engine itself but the end is really in sight now

Huge thanks to my pal harry for all the help he has given me over the last few months, @proautosnorthampton / @e36_ddk for painting the bay & @k46per for helping me get the engine in and helping me find the wiring gremlin that prevented it from starting. Couldn’t have done it without you guys honestly.

Now to figure out tidying up the rats nest in the passenger footwell and tidying up the rest of the car ready for paint and skid days real soon

Swipe for progress 🤙

Engine bay finally starting to take shape, not quite there but heading in the right direction for sure. 70 man hours deep so far.
