Cover girl. Shop owner. MHOA procurement manager. Arielle Shaves is a woman of many talents — and @austin_home magazine agrees, naming her a 2026 Rising Star in Austin Design.

Arielle's route into design began in hospitality, where she worked nearly every position in a restaurant before moving into styling and set design. When the pandemic prompted a shift, she pursued formal interior design training and joined our procurement team, bringing with her a discerning read on atmosphere, function, and how people move through a space.

That sensibility extends beyond the studio. With a friend, Arielle co-founded Maybe A Pop-Up Shop, a community art studio and storefront hosting workshops and programming for fellow artists.

Congratulations, Arielle, on a distinction well earned. We are so very proud of you.

That’s right this Saturday is coffee shop day. We will be alongside the lovely @felizasbakery from 10-2 at the shop. Come see some of the new goodies we got in.

Just a couple things we’re excited about. You can shop all weekend at our Coffee Shop day Saturday with @felizasbakery from 10-2 or Sunday during our Ice Dyeing workshop from 12-2. A little something for everyone!

If you were ever afraid that luck didn’t exist in this world, right now I’m telling you otherwise. The infinitesimally small amounts of necessary chance stacked up within an incredibly narrow window of time to bring us together in a way that can only be described as luck. It’s almost every day that we have a little battle over who’s luckier - me, who gave the first “I love you,” or her, who invited me to our first date. On 6/14/2026, we told each other that we’re lucky enough to have that daily battle over who’s the luckiest one until the end of time; and engaged to be wed. I love you, @itsearrrlll
