I’m back from being OOO for one last hurrah before school starts! We had a fun, quick road trip down to SoCal☀️

Core memories were made, and boy, are our hearts full 💗

We visited the @nhmla, @unistudios, went thrifting in Magnolia Park, @farmersmarketla for some delish bites, caught some amazing views of LA and had the most epic experience at the @lalalandinconcert at @greek_theatre ✨

Our little bunso turned 7 yesterday 🥳🎉

Adrian was so excited to spend his birthday with family and friends! Everyday this guy shows us what’s really important in life. His love for family, big heart, and just pure excitement for a new day spills over and fills our cup everyday.

A little late 🤪 but I had such an memorable Mother's Day thanks to my favorite humans in the whole wide world. Being a mother is the BEST job and being their mother is my life's purpose and greatest joy. We got to celebrate some milestone birthdays with my amazing family. Happiest 8th birthday to our Jaydo!! What can I say about this guy??...so much FUN!! He’s definitely the life of the party in this house! Always ready for the next adventure!! He’s got the best of me,his dad, and his big bro...with a sprinkle of the crazy too lol... he knows how to keep us all on our toes... making every day exciting! He’s constantly surprising us with his wit and his ability to find a new talent and skill that he crushes everyday! 17 years!! Where did the time go?? 17 years of being the mom to literally the best kid EVER! 17 years of hearing what an amazing job I’ve done as a parent when really I know, it’s just him. He is just an amazing kid. Respectful, compassionate, loyal, and just the most kind hearted guy through and through! I’m so lucky to have him, to have grown with him, to have learned so much from being his mom and to have been a part of raising such an incredible kid. We are just so lucky. We are just so blessed. When all the craziness of this year is over, I can’t wait to see what great things he will accomplish in the world as a young adult... what kind of impact he will have on others and how he will grow from the many experiences that await him. It’s scary and exciting but I know whatever he does, it’s gonna be great and you better believe I’ll be there every step of the way! I’m so proud. I’m so grateful to be his mama. This is 36.....what a fricken year guys!!! I know it may not seem like there’s a lot to get excited about these days... but if this pandemic did anything, it taught us how to slow down...spend time desperately needed on ourselves...face our demons...appreciate the quality time we now have more of with our families...opened our eyes to the many things wrong in this world, that we may have been too busy to notice before... gave us the opportunity to try to make those things better and better ourselves... and made us live more practically....focusing more on what we need, rather than just what we want.... I for one, am so grateful for each and every beautiful person in my life...and even more grateful for my health and the health of all my loved ones. All I really want this birthday is just that. I don’t need a thing as long as all my people are feeling good, staying well and being as happy as can be. It may be corny but who cares about things and trips and wealth without the presence of the people that make all those things amazing.
