Subway disco 🪩 We had so much fun flowering in NYC for @daughtersofsimone & @fromthedaisies last week! This was the first time I've used gerbs in an installation— I bought them on a complete whim at the market and something about them just felt right to contrast against this grungy, city vibe. 1. It doesn’t mold (my first one from another company molded and was so gross after about 2 months of use, I had to get a q tip and clean inside each bristle to get the mold out and it was just terrible)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. The bristles are super soft but still firm enough to give a good scalp massage (my last scalp massager from a different company was so hard after using it my head felt like it was on actual fire lol)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Today marks one year since I walked through the doors of @thelifechurchnewyork. From that very first service, it felt like home. Little did I know, that moment would lead to incredible friendships, mentoring teens, and leading a life group. I prayed fervently for a community to do life with, and God blessed me abundantly more than I imagined. He’s incredibly kind like that.

To @allisoncarver_ & @andylcarver, thank you for welcoming me to the worship team with such warmth, for being a steady source of support, and for leading with authority from a beautiful place of humility and surrender. I’m so grateful for all you do and for the genuine care you show to those around you🫶🏼

To pastors @waynefrancis & @classy1999, thank you for your unwavering commitment to God, this church and its mission. Your passion for developing leaders and transforming lives has deeply impacted mine🤍

Can’t wait to see what God does through LCNY this year!

the last time I showed (yes I looked up if that is actually a word) my face here was back in September so I’m just popping in to say hello 👋🏽☺️ this is my face.

I was nominated by my friend Madison and Chey to do the 8-fact thing!? So here are some facts about me!

1. I didn’t go to photography school! Photography is a passion that sort of fell in my lap back in 2015. I asked my mom for a camera for a roadtrip I was taking to Florida so I could document my travels. She gifted me with one and I fell in love with it. There’s more to this story but this I can get into that at another time haha.

2. I’m an actress! Acting is something I’ve been passionate about since the age of 7. I’ve been in a handful of commercials and if you watch OITNB’s last season you may see me. Just don’t blink, you might miss it haha.

3. When I was younger and my parents bought me a new movie, I would watch it back to back for 2 weeks. I would literally finish the movie, and while the credits were running, I’d rewind all the way to the beginning and rewatch it.

4. The shows I always have running in the background while I’m doing things around the house or just in general are Gilmore Girls, Gossip Girl or The Office.

5. I’m also a singer. It’s always been a hobby. May or may not be coming out with some projects in the near future 👀

6. Growing up, my sister and I did NOT get along 😂 that broken relationship lasted until adulthood. One day I felt God impress upon my heart to live with her for a summer. I did. And that summer changed the course of our relationship forever. She is now my best friend in the whole wide world. FYI, that summer I also met my husband 😊 he worked at the same church as her at the time. So yeah... I was definitely led by God to live there that summer.

7. I’m a believer and follower of Jesus Christ 🤍 my faith is a big part of me and is the driving force of my life.

8. I have a cute little yorkie named Pebbie. She’s just like her mama: loves fashion, has all the sass and requires love and attention 24/7 😂🤍
