In high security environments like nuclear power plants and military facilities, personal devices are heavily restricted to prevent leaks of sensitive information. One of the biggest risks is the presence of cameras, which could capture images of classified equipment or operations. To address this concern, certain iPhones are modified to completely remove both front and rear cameras while keeping the rest of the device functional. These camera-less iPhones are not made by Apple itself but by third party companies that specialize in modifying consumer devices. The process involves physically dismantling the iPhone, stripping out the camera hardware, and installing a custom housing that conceals the removed components. The result is a phone that looks nearly identical to a standard iPhone but is incapable of taking photos or videos, making it safe to use in restricted areas. Such modifications allow workers in secure industries to still enjoy the communication, productivity, and security features of an iPhone without violating workplace policies. From messaging and mobile apps to encrypted communication tools, employees can stay connected while respecting strict regulations. These devices highlight how technology can be adapted to fit unique professional needs while balancing convenience with safety. It is a sad day, Apple killed the App Store on iOS 6 which means that every single collector on earth can’t really use a device in any way that is still running iOS 6 or below. Although as you can see I can still post to Instagram on iOS 6, I probably will be updating to iOS 7 or 8 sooner or later Rest In Peace iOS 6 App Store The posts are back, I will again start posting photos taken on my iPhone 4s at least once a week.
