So proud of our girls!! 🌸🎉🥰

Today they learned what it means to serve and fulfill their civic duties as a resident in their communities.

Judge Don Johnson and his team of civically engaged young adults, partnered with our interns to discuss the importance of voting and knowing your voice has value 🩷🙌🏾✨

It was so great to hear the input from our OMG Families, who were well receptive of the knowledge they received from our speakers. 🎤✨

✨ WORDS HAVE POWER, SIS!✨

Tonight’s OMG Club Meeting was a whole vibe. 💖 From yummy snacks to line dancing, we did it all!! 😂 Whew Chile!!

Most importantly though, We dropped our favorite books and talked about why those stories hit different. ...AND...we also got real... words aren't just "talk." 🗣️

The mean stuff?Yeah, that stuff ...It leaves a permanent mark on a heart that you can’t just "undo." 😞
The kind stuff? Oh yeah that stuff...It builds us up.🎉

Just know your voice has weight. Use it to lift those up around you, not tear them down. Choose your words like you choose your lip gloss...carefully and with intention. 💅🏽💋🔥

The Spirit of Christmas is in the air at @omgconference From the Central Christmas Parade featuring @queen_drmalini and our OMG Royal Court 👑, Running of the Elves 5k & Pancake Cook-off to our monthly OMG Family Food Pantry! Everything brought in the wonderful Christmas spirit and we appreciate ALL who extended their time and talents to make sure each event turned out successfully! 🩷

Our food pantry families were greeted with delicious warm gumbo courtesy of @themamamiax and a $50 gift card courtesy of Albertsons, as well as, clothes and essentials items courtesy of Walmart.

Our OMG Club Members from YCP created handmade Christmas cards with special personalized messages for each family member who visited our pantry. All of our volunteers from the Omega Tau Pi Sorority, BREC, @churchofjesuschrist missionaries, church members and community members, all came out to lend a BIG heart and hand. 💖

I love Christmas because it is the Spirit of Christ we feel and it Shines BRIGHT! ✨🩷
