Fear of embarrassment is the thief of opportunity. 🌞

Would you believe me if I told you I was nervous to even tell my friends about Coastal Moke because I was scared it may be silly? Don’t let embarrassment stop you from anything!

Hi, I’m Taylor. Let me reintroduce myself for those who don’t know me. 👋🏼

First and always, I’m a mom. My son, Colby, is 18 and starting his next chapter at Embry-Riddle. 🤍

I’m also a real estate agent here on the Emerald Coast. I love real estate, but to me, it’s about so much more than houses and transactions. It’s about people, relationships, trust and being someone others know they can call when they need help.

And then there’s Emerald Coast Real Producers.

As Publisher, I have the opportunity to build something I truly believe this community needs: a place where people connect, collaborate and grow together.

My vision for Real Producers is bigger than a magazine.

It’s a community where:

• Agents build genuine relationships
• Partners become trusted resources and friends
• New agents sit alongside industry leaders
• We celebrate wins and learn from challenges
• We give back and make room for one another

I believe wholeheartedly that your network is your net worth.

One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 27:17:
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

That’s what I hope to build here: a community that sharpens, challenges, champions and opens doors for one another.

Outside of real estate and Real Producers, I’m a woman of faith, a friend, a connector, a dreamer and an entrepreneur. I love bringing people together, having meaningful conversations, laughing way too loudly and asking, “Okay, but what if we actually did it?”

This next chapter is about impact.

Building something meaningful. Creating opportunities. Growing Real Producers into something this community is proud to be part of. Continuing to grow in real estate. And becoming the woman God is calling me to be.

So whether you found me through real estate, Real Producers, an event, the podcast, church, networking or somehow just ended up here…

Hi. I’m Taylor. Welcome to my page. 🤍

I have a feeling we’re just getting started.

September’s cover is here, and Amanda Hurd’s story is all about what can happen when you’re willing to bet on yourself. ✨

At 26, Amanda did something most people would probably call a little crazy. She sold her home, quit her job in pharmaceutical sales, cashed out her 401(k), packed up her two kids, and moved to Florida without knowing a single person.

No job waiting. No perfectly mapped-out plan. Just a belief that there was something better ahead.

That leap of faith eventually led Amanda to real estate, where she built her business from the ground up, became a top producer, and later founded Hurd Real Estate & Company alongside her husband, Gene. Today, their boutique brokerage has grown to approximately 20 agents while staying intentional about the culture they’ve created around family, community, and taking care of people.

But what I love most about Amanda’s story is that success, for her, was never just about selling more homes.

It was about creating a life she actually wanted to come home to.

A career that gave her the flexibility to be there for her children. A business built around relationships that have lasted for years. The opportunity to mentor other agents. And a life on the Emerald Coast that leaves room for boating, paddleboarding, biking, family, and actually enjoying the place she works so hard to help others call home.

As Amanda says, “Sometimes you just have to trust yourself. That one leap of faith changed everything.”

Amanda, congratulations on being the September Cover Story for Emerald Coast Real Producers. Your story is such a great reminder that sometimes the path that makes the least sense on paper ends up leading exactly where you were supposed to be.

Pick up the September issue and read Amanda Hurd: Creating a Life Worth Coming Home To.
