This big kid is 45!! My best friend and main squeeze, and the only person I want to tell literally everything to. And he even mostly listens 😘!

Love you so much sweetheart. Thanks for still being here ❤️🫀

Last day of school! Senior and freshman year were so full—I’m proud of these two every single day. And Pippin continues to be the sweetest angel baby.

Lyn didn’t have to go to school until noon today, but still got up for pictures ❤️

We’re here. The end of this part of the journey.
Two more days as a high schooler, then onwards and upwards. My Lyn ❤️❤️❤️

Exactly one month until graduation! 👨‍🎓

Lyn is beyond ready to say goodbye to high school. I’m so proud of them, and I can’t wait to finish out this journey with them.

Part 1 of senior photos, sharing horizontal images. We were lucky to take photos at Pease Park on an absolutely gorgeous day. Thank you to @colleenbrown_photography!

First time voter!!

Voting was even more fun than usual this time! We spent the morning researching candidates, and Lyn got cheers in the voting precinct. And, as tradition dictates, ice cream follows successfully exercising your rights.

Christ is risen!
Tremendous weekend full of family. Multiple egg hunts, wonderful food, and time spent with people we love at church and both our parents’ houses. If only we had taken more pictures to capture the happiness!

Joel’s 4th Aortaversary! 🫀

We’re so lucky to have had four more years as a family.

As always, I’m so thankful to everyone who helped care for us during that time— especially our parents and the amazing team at @bswhealth in Round Rock. Thankful also to the researchers and advocates at the @johnritterfoundation and @thinkaorta who continue to ensure medical teams are ready to quickly diagnose #aorticdissections and save lives.

We celebrated at our neighborhood hang tonight, plus we’ll go on a mini vacay later this week to relax and spend time together. Because that’s the whole point of living—being present with the people you love, experiencing the beauty of LIFE!
