🤍 To our Guest Writers… thank you. Truly.

Thank you for giving us your time, your talent, your ideas, and your heart. You didn’t just come in to write a song. You sat in the room with our writers, listened to their stories, encouraged them, challenged them, and gave something of yourself to the process.

You could’ve been anywhere, and we don’t take it lightly that you chose to spend that time creating alongside our writers. We hope you know how much your presence meant to us, and to the people who got to share a room with you.

➡️ Writers, now it’s your turn. Tag the Guest Writer(s) you got to write with and thank them for what they brought to your session. Give them their flowers in the comments. 💐

🔥 Yeah… we did that.
60+ songwriters in the house AND joining us virtually. Two days of writing, learning sessions, SongShare Concerts, late nights, long days, new connections, and 4️⃣3️⃣ SONGS submitted between our in-person + virtual rooms. 🤯

The eXperience just keeps getting better.
Now we’re hearing Jess say she’s ready to “level up”. 👀 Whatever that means. Anyone else curious?

✏️ 50+ songwriters gathered in person and virtually for The eXperience this weekend, ready to write, learn, and add a few new tools to the creative toolbox. 👀

One of those tools? Splice.

We brought in Jubril Sanyaolu to show our writers how he uses Splice as a starting point—finding sounds, sparking ideas, and creating when the blank page isn’t giving you much to work with.

Our writers are hungry to keep learning and finding new ways into a song, and Jubril gave them something they could take straight into their next writing session.

@Splice, we’re putting these writers to work. 👀🤝

Getting all of the right creatives in the room together is a special thing. The energy in this space is very real, and the collision of talent and good ideas always yields great art.

You sit at an instrument and muscle memory takes you to the same chords, the same melodies, the same places.

Your voice doesn’t always have those same rules and it has a completely different texture than an instrument.

The breaths, imperfections, tone, and movement can turn a simple melody into something that feels completely different.

Next time you hear a melody in your head, sing it first. You might surprise yourself.

GO LISTEN TO THE HOMIE @itsjubril ‼️‼️‼️
